In the early hours of Friday, May 15, Charli d'Amelio's Instagram page mysteriously disappeared completely, and no one was sure why, but now we know.
D'Amelio is TikTok's most followed star, with over 50 million followers on the platform and most likely career prospects that will keep her going for life.
Naturally, with such a huge online presence, her popularity extends to other social media platforms and has amassed over 18 million followers on Instagram, but now the account doesn't exist at all thanks to a huge setback.
Although the fans were completely confused at first, the situation was clarified by Heidi, sister Charlie in a funny tweet that clearly demonstrates the kind of people in the D'Amelio family.
Saying she woke up at 4 a.m. laughing and crying, Heidi says she heard the noise coming from Charlie herself, apparently in hysterics when she managed to accidentally delete her own Instagram account.
Following this simple "love you, CharChar", Heidi and her family are clearly not concerned about this issue, and are probably hoping to fix it as soon as possible.

Charlie herself has yet to comment on the accident, though she posted a tweet shortly after simply saying she was "Not the brightest."
So it's clear that Charlie somehow managed to delete her own Instagram account and the 18 million followers she had. When she can get him back, or if she can at all, remains a mystery.
Judging by how flippant both Charlie and Heidi are talking about the incident, it's safe to assume it will be fixed in the long run, but fans may have to wait a little longer before any of Charlie's content hits their Instagram feed again. .
