Activision and Raven Software have published the update notes for all the new content coming to Call of Duty: Warzone in Season XNUMX, including exciting new additions like the PCA, a new event called Hunt for Adler, and big changes coming to Verdansk.

Verdansk map changes and Operation Rapid Sunder event

What's more, the official S3 roadmap shows a "warzone map update" as one aspect of the upcoming season, which is most likely the 1980s-themed Verdansk that was featured in the recently leaked celebrity trailer.
Six new weapons: PPSh-41, K31, CARV.2, AMP63 and others.
In total, there will be six new weapons in Warzone Season 3: three will be released immediately after release, with three more coming later in the season. The biggest of these is the PPSh-41, an iconic old-school submachine gun making a comeback in the CoD series. It will be released at launch along with the Swiss K31 sniper rifle and ballistic knife.
Three other weapons will be released at some point during the season, and they include the CARV.2 tactical rifle, the AMP63 pistol, and the baseball bat.
Hunt for Adler Event
Season XNUMX will kick off with a new limited-time event called Hunt for Adler, during which players will have to search for Intel Challenges in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War to try and find out the whereabouts of Russell Adler, the missing protagonist.
Players will receive rewards such as weapon amulets and calling cards for completing in-game challenges, and those who complete the full set will receive an exclusive Adler skin to use in both multiplayer and battle royale.
Warzone Season 3 Patch Notes and Weapon Balance
While we still have to wait for Raven to release the full patch notes for the S3 update, they have already revealed some of the changes that will appear in the game, including adjustments to the infamous Roze skin and a "significant" weapon balance for the AUG, M16, FFAR and Sykov.
Some of the changes have already been implemented in their April 19 update , including several nerfs to Sykov, a fix for the infamous sniper lack of glare bug, and an adjustment to the way RC-XDs are purchased at buy stations.
