Choose the right Pokemon for each level

If you use a Pokémon with a specialization that matches the type of level you're playing on, you'll get a bonus: the skill bar will fill up faster, and it'll be easier for you to actually beat the level.
So it's very important to pay attention to the level you're going to be playing at and make sure you choose a Pokémon that matches it.
It's better to combine two skills together
With the right staff, your skill bar will fill up faster, and as a result, you'll be more likely to create special Café Skills corresponding to them.
One of these special tiles is very useful, but if you have a little patience to fill the bar again, you can mix the two together for an even better effect: this is usually what you should be aiming for, really.
Don't try to rush using special skill tiles once they've been created. Even though they are really cute and seductive, it is better to use them when you really need them and when they will make a difference.
This means waiting to combine two or using those special items to get to the dice to get tiles or really appreciate that winning move.
It is also very important to know exactly how each of these special skills works. Some explode and remove objects in the area around them, others in a row, and so on. Make sure you know what they are doing so you can take full advantage of their power.
How to unlock more employees?
Unlocking new Pokémon to work in your cafe is a matter of levels. Thus, the more active you are and the more orders you complete, the more Pokémon you will have as friends and you will be able to unlock them as staff.
The first additional Pokémon to become an employee in the Pokemon Cafe Mix is Charmander, which is unlocked at level 7. Here are some others that become available as you play:
- Minccino at the 14 level
- snubbull at the 17 level
- slurpuff at level 24
As you can see, the more you play, the more employees you unlock. The same goes for in-game content, with new features or café areas unlocked as you progress through more advanced levels.
Create correct puzzle chains for as long as possible
I'm not talking about the length of the chains themselves, but the actual time spent creating them. As soon as you click on an element and link it to another element, the countdown timer starts.
Unless you really know that you have indeed chained all the available tiles, there is no real need to release your lock until the time runs out. While you're at it, just swipe across the screen to grab all the other available items.
Not only will this clear the playing field faster, but it will probably fill up your skill meter faster and help you progress through levels more easily. There is rarely, if ever, an advantage to leaving unmatched tiles on the board.
By moving your finger across the screen, keep an eye on the position of your chain and the place on the board where your turn ends. The first is important when you need to break special tiles; the latter is not so important, but exactly where your special skill tile will be placed * if earned.
Don't waste acorns to continue a level if you don't know you will win
Although the game starts out nice and easy, it gets quite challenging. This means that you may not complete the level. When you do this, you have a chance to spend golden acorns to continue.
While this is certainly a useful option, you can run over your cash reserves very quickly if you rush to accept this offer every time. Only take it when you are 100% sure you can actually level up if you do.
In other words, only accept this offer if you are only a stone's throw away from winning the challenge. Otherwise, you are just losing valuable currency!
Play levels and use power-ups
Power-ups are unlocked later in the game and they can definitely make the difference between victory and defeat. The problem is that you have to select them before starting the level.
Because they are so valuable and important, we recommend that you don't rush into using them unless you really know you need them.
This means that you should always play the next level without turning on the power. Maybe even replay it, as replay can give you better tile drops and make your life easier by helping you complete levels without any extra help.
But if you've already played the level at least a few times and it seems too hard to beat without some extra help, use power-ups. Just make sure that whenever you do this, you really make them count and win this game!
Strive to complete Friendship Bonus levels
After completing a certain set of orders for a Pokemon, you will unlock a friendship bonus that allows you to get three stars.
However, if you do not pass this level, you will not receive a reward. So it's always a good idea to be very careful when completing Friendship Bonus challenges in Pokemon Cafe Mix. You don't want to miss out on these bonuses!
