Pokémon Concierge - release date, anime details
In celebration of Pokémon Day 2023, the Pokémon Company announced that it is producing an anime series titled Pokémon Concierge. This show is one of many upcoming projects. This show is like nothing else. Pokémon has done before, but with the classic anime coming to an end after nearly 26 years, the franchise looks set to branch out and explore new horizons. Some other upcoming TV projects include anime pokemon scarlet и Purple without Ash Ketchum and a show-led Netflix reboot of the show Lucifer. Where is Pokémon Concierge streaming?
As in the case of Pokémon Journeys and some Pokémon movies, this upcoming anime has found a home on Netflix where the series will premiere. It is unknown if the show will air on any other platforms at this time.

What is the history of Pokémon Concierge?
The show's logline states that it will follow "Haru, a young woman at the Pokémon Resort, and her interactions with Pokémon and their owners who visit as guests." Essentially, this children's version of "White Lotus", but it is unknown if it takes place in the same universe as the popular anime centered around Ash and his partner Pikachu.
Based on their premise, Pokémon Concierge it seems like it will be a very different story than the worldwide adventures Ash and his friends have started on their own show. However, anime Pokémon still triumphant when it showed the characters doing things slowly with little life stories, so this new spin-off is sure to find as much success as its own story.
What Pokémon characters will be in Pokémon Concierge?
No other characters were revealed for the series other than the main character Haru and her partner Psyduck. Given the presence and popularity of the latter in Pokemon franchisePsyduck seems to be the mascot for this show in the same way that Pikachu is for Ash's anime series.
While the rest of the cast is unknown, its premise suggests that it will follow a "man of the week" format similar to the original show and introduce and focus on a new character in each episode.
Is there a trailer for Pokémon Concierge?
Yes! Netflix and The Pokémon Company gave viewers a glimpse of this intriguing new streaming show with a teaser of a Psyduck, likely owned by Haru, walking down the beach.

There isn't much going on in this short video, but it does give a sense of peace and tranquility that one would expect from a beach resort. The poster that was released with the trailer also featured Haru and Psyduck looking up at the sky with the tagline, "I'm happy when you're happy."
Who makes the series?
To create this series, Netflix and The Pokémon Compay have partnered with Dwarf Studios (not to be confused with Dwarf Animation Studios in France), run by Domo creator Tsuneo Goda. This famous animation studio is responsible for creating many other anime favorites such as Netflix Rilakkuma and Kaoru и The Curious Kitty & Friends. Based on these works and the stop-motion approach to the series, Pokémon Conciergewill definitely be quite an animated treat for viewers.
When will Pokémon Concierge be released?
At the moment, there is no release date for the series, and the teaser trailer simply says that it is "coming soon." Since Pokémon Concierge is an anime, it is possible that the Japanese version of the subbed will be released before the English dubbed version. Such a release schedule would be similar to that of the main anime, but it's too early to tell when each version of the series will release.
Who is in it?
Nothing has been announced regarding the cast of this series. There are currently no English or Japanese voice actors, but the original anime has hired some of the best of the best to bring its characters to life, so it looks like viewers will be hearing some familiar voices.
