Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes you to the Sinnoh region where the events of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl took place. You will find yourself in a distant past, when no one could even think of becoming a Pokémon trainer or forming the Pokémon League. Sinnoh is nothing like the region you remember from Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. Everywhere you will meet wild Pokémon living in the most severe conditions. To catch a Pokémon, observe it and study its behavior. Then carefully sneak up to him and throw the Pokeball.

Pokémon Legends Arceus. Walkthrough

The main campaign of Pokémon Legends: Arceus is divided into a series of missions, each with its own objectives, which you must complete in a linear fashion. Missions will naturally start when you complete the previous one, but you may have to increase your star rank with the Galaxy Expedition team in order to complete certain objectives.

If you ever need to check your current mission objective, visit your Arc Phone's map view and press Y. A list of your current and past missions and requests will open; from here you can activate the mission, so its objective sometimes appears on the screen during the game.

As you explore Hisui, you can also complete both requests and research tasks to learn more about the region's Pokémon and help its inhabitants. You can learn more about requests and research tasks on their dedicated pages.

Below you'll find our walkthrough of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, organized by the order of the missions and the biomes you visit during them. This walkthrough, however, contains spoilers for the entire game, so read at your own risk.

Prelude Beach

After negotiating with a mysterious Pokémon figure, you wake up on Prelude Beach with three baby Pokémon, Rowlet, Oshawott, and Cyndaquil; and Professor Laventon looks at you, but they all soon run away. Follow them out of the water and pick up your new smartphone, now converted into an "Arc Phone" by a mysterious figure.

Once you catch up with Laventon, he confesses that he can't throw balls. Luckily, you probably had a great childhood spent throwing a lot of balls, and you definitely won't need the 50 Poke Balls that Laventon gives you to catch three Pokemon for him. (Unfortunately, you have to come back after this, no matter what.)

How to throw balls

Hold down the ZR button to aim with the Poke Ball and release when you're ready. Eventually, you will be able to hold ZL to lock Pokemon before throwing!

  • Sindakil is behind the rocks.
  • Oshawott is in a tiny pond.
  • Rowlet is uphill on a ledge.

After catching the three, Laventon will tell you about how he and the Galaxy team are working on the first Pokedex, a goal that aligns with your own goal of finding all the Pokemon so you can reunite with the creature that sent you here. Laventon will then take you to Jubilife Village, which will be your home base for Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Follow Laventon to Jubilee Village

After walking down the main street, you will need to meet Laventon at The Wallflower, the only restaurant in town.

Maps and markers

Press - to open the map whenever you want, and pay attention to the round markers to keep track of where to go next. Once you start getting requests, aka side quests, you will still only be able to keep track of one task at a time.

When you're ready, cross the bridge in front of you and turn left to the marker in front of The Wallflower to trigger the next set of dialogues where you will meet Akari or Rei and Sillin and learn your destiny.

Go to sleep

By the time you finish talking, it will be night and time to sleep. Luckily, the found people from the Galaxy Expedition Team are not complete monsters and give you a place to sleep. Now.

Go to the assigned room and interact with the futon in the back to fall asleep. Your new digs have a lot of things to interact with if you so choose, but remember that you can change at the rear mirror at any time. Once you fall asleep, you will move on to the next main mission called The Galaxy Team's Entry Trial.

Galaxy Team Entry

When you wake up, Akira or Rei will tell you that you need to go to Galaxy Team HQ to see Captain Sillin. Here you will be given your first task: catch 3 pokemon

Captain Sillin will ask you to head to the Obsidian Fields and capture Biduf, Starly, and Shinks. Before you leave, the captain will also give you a satchel. research corps.

Press the Y button when the map is open on Arc Phone to see what tasks are available. There are two types of requests: missions and requests. Missions are mandatory while requests are optional.

Choose your starter Pokémon

When you leave the headquarters, Professor Laventon will meet you. Here you will be able to choose your starting Pokémon. The choice is between:

  • Sindaquil
  • Roulette
  • Oshawott

Once you've chosen your first Pokémon partner, the professor will also give you 20 Poke Ballsto help with your test.

Travel with Akira or Rei to obsidian fields from the front gate of Jubilife village (which is in the east when you exit the headquarters)

As you approach the gate, you will run into a member of the Gingko Guild. Volo. It's time for your first battle!

Volo will use Lv. 5 Togepi. Press Ato fight and you can knock down Togepi Volo in a few hits. Once you defeat Volo, you will receive 5 potions.

Head to the gate and select Obsidian Fieldlands to begin your challenge.

In obsidian fields

When you arrive, you will have a short conversation with Professor Laventon, and then you will need to follow Akira or Rei to Aspiration Hill to start the trial. When you do this, a wild Bidoof will helpfully appear.

To capture Bidouf, you need to aim your Poke Ball and throw. Hold ZLto focus, and ZRto aim and throw a Poke Ball.

Once this is completed, follow Akari or Rei one more time and catch the Star. Here you will learn how to squat by clicking button B. You will need to crouch and sneak up on Starlight through the tall grass to catch him.

Follow Akira or Rei again to learn how to use your Pokémon to hunt items and use them in combat. If you point your Pokémon at a tree or rock, it will search for items for you. If you want to do this, aim and throw your Pokémon up a tree to collect 2 oran berries.

Now it's time to catch Shinks. When you focus on a Pokémon, arrows will appear. The more arrows you see, the easier it will be to catch Pokemon. If you see X, then the Pokémon wants to start a fight with you.

Naturally, the Shinx you're about to capture wants to fight. You can drop your Pokémon partner to start a battle. If you have an item press Xto switch to Pokemon.

Battle of the Shinks

Fight Shinks to weaken him, then press upto select your items and Poke Ball. Once it gets weak, you can throw the ball out and grab it.

After that, return to Professor Laventon with Akira or Rei and you will return to Jubilife Village to report your findings to Captain Sillin. When you do, you will be rewarded research corps uniform и research corps sandals, and you can also hold the satchel you were given earlier. Your next task is to return to your room and use the mirror to put on your new uniform.

Change into uniform

Leave the headquarters and change into a new uniform. When you're done, Captain Sillin will ask you to report to Commander Kamado on the third floor of the Galacti Hall. The end of this conversation also signals the end of this mission and the start of the next one, Crafting Basics.

Pokémon Legends Arceus Crafting Basics

After talking to Commander Kamado, you will return to the office with Captain Sillin. Here you will be informed that you are starting your journey as a recruit no star.

Basics of crafting1.jpg

To move up the ranks, you will need to work on your Pokedex - the more Pokemon you catch, the higher your rank will be. Captain Sillin will also provide you with a Poke Ball crafting recipe and money to get you started.

Akira or Rei will take you through the basics of crafting and take you to crafting jobs so you can learn how to make items.

When you leave the headquarters, you will meet Ante (a local clothier) who will give you casual kimono и casual trousers.

Basics of crafting2.jpg

Head east of the headquarters to meet with Akira or Rei at the craft factories. Here you can use the workbench to create items. Akira or Rei will give you the materials you need to craft some Poke Balls.

This completes the short quest.

Getting Your Pokedex

Professor Laventon will show up and give you his Pokédex so you can start catching Pokémon and report your findings.

Basics of crafting4.jpg

You will have to complete research tasks to help complete your Pokedex, which leads to the next mission.

Getting Started with Research Problems

Leave Jubilife Village

At the beginning of this mission, you will travel to Camp Fieldlands with Professor Laventon. When you leave the village of Jubilife, Beauregard will talk to you and have a request.

GettingtoWorkonResearchTasks1.jpg

Inquiries

Whenever someone has a task for you, they will have a request icon (small marker) above them. By completing these requests, you will receive rewards.

Since these requests are optional, here you can either head to the Obsidian Fields to talk to Professor Laventon about research tasks, or talk to Beauregard to unlock your first Wurmple Can Evolve request.

Go to the Fieldlands Camp

Travel to Obsidian Fieldlands and speak with Professor Laventon. He will explain that a number of research tasks must be completed in order to complete the Pokedex.

Each Pokémon will have a number and variety of tasks for you to complete. When you open the Pokedex, click Down buttonto see which Pokémon have been registered and which research tasks are available.

If you are in the field, you can instantly check these tasks by clicking ZL buttonto focus on the pokemon and then down button, to open the Pokedex on a specific page.

Follow Akira or Rei

Akira or Rei will start by showing you how avoid attacks. For this press the Y key. Follow Akira or Rei and they'll cover the basics of doing research tasks.

Here you can try focusing and open the Pokedex page for the challenges for the Bidoof in front of you.

GettingtoWorkonResearchTasks2.jpg

When you're ready, catch up with Akira or Rei and open the Pokedex for research challenges on Starly. Here you will have the opportunity to catch up on some of the research challenges already available. Don't forget to crouch when approaching Starly by pressing button B.

When you're ready, catch up with Akira or Rei again to find your first Buizel. This is another Pokémon that you will have to fight before you can catch it.

Taking damage in combat

If you deal too much damage during combat, you will be disabled. When the screen turns red, you are in danger!

Here you will learn that in order to complete some research tasks, you will need to see how the Pokemon perform certain moves in battle. Approach Buizel and throw out your Pokémon partner to start your fight.

GettingtoWorkonResearchTasks4.jpg

When you're done, catch up with Akira or Rei again. They will reward you crafting kit for completing tasks so far. This will allow you to craft items even if there is no workbench around using the materials in your backpack. They will also give you the crafting recipe. potions.

Checking Your Pokedex

You'll be able to check your Pokedex cover art to see when you have tasks to report. Return to Professor Laventon to submit your survey reports. This will reward you with money. Completion of this study also improves research level every pokemon.

GettingtoWorkonResearchTasks6.jpg

Research levels

When you receive research level to 10 level for a Pokémon, you will complete all the available tasks and get all the information you can get about that Pokémon species. Completing these tasks also gives you pokemon research points, which help you secure a spot on the Galaxy Expedition team.

You must work your way through specific Starly and Bidoof challenges, if you haven't already, and report your findings to Professor Laventon in order to advance through the ranks. Once this is completed, you will head back to Jubilife Village.

Report to Captain Sillin to let her know that you have risen in the ranks. You will get a rank First Starwhich will also allow you to use Heavy Balls (and get the recipe) and for Pokémon up 20 level obey you in battle. You will also receive a crafting recipe you revive.

GettingtoWorkonResearchTasks7.jpg

This will complete the fourth mission and unlock the fifth.

Mai's request

During dinner at the Wallflower, Professor Laventon and Akira or Rei will explain how research tasks and requests work a little more. They will tell you that you can talk to people to accept requests and also pick them up from the board in Laventon's lab. They will start discussing Mai from the Diamond Clan and the request Mai has. Akira or Rei will ask for your help and ask you to meet them at the training grounds.

Go to training grounds

ARequestForMai1.jpg

Akira or Rei will introduce you to their Pokémon partner, Pikachu, and the challenges they face with their Pokémon in battle. Their only solution to this problem? Pokemon battle!

Trainer Battle! vs Akira or Rei

Lv.PokemonA type
Lv. fivePikachuЭлектрический

You will go against Akira or Rei and their Pikachu. Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokémon and will take the most damage from Ground-type attacks. After defeating them, they will give a brief explanation of the different types of Pokémon.

Your conversation will be interrupted by Zizu, the captain of the Security Corps. She will explain that once a Pokémon has mastered a move, it can perform them in different styles: namely the flexible style or the strong style. You can press the button L or Rto select a style.

ARequestForMai2.jpg

Pokémon will learn moves and unlock styles as part of the leveling process. You can talk to Zisu before heading out to initiate a Request from Mai to teach your Pokémon some new moves.

Talk to Mai

When you're ready, head to the Obsidian Fields to find the Mai of the Diamond Clan. When you get there, you will run into Valo again. He will teach you how to perform backstab, which means hitting a Pokémon from behind to have a higher chance of catching it (or gaining the upper hand in a fight).

Cross the bridge to talk to Mai, who is with Akira or Rei. The first thing she will do is engage you in combat with her Lv. 10 Munchlax.

ARequestForMai6.jpg

Trainer Battle! vs. May

Lv.PokemonA type
Lv. fiveMunchlaxNormal

Moonclax is weak to combat-type moves and immune to ghost-type moves. However, it will take normal damage from a range of Pokemon types, so you'll have a lot of choice when it comes to the Pokemon you take into battle.

When you defeat Munchlax, Mai will heal your Pokémon and give you 5 Vivichokes, which can restore your Pokémon's vitality.

Dyrtrek Heights

Mai's Inquiry is located in Dirtrek Heights. Your Arc Phone will beep and show you where to go. Follow May to the marker shown to learn about the Alpha Pokémon.

Professor Laventon will arrive as soon as the conversation begins. A strange noise will start and Alpha Lv will appear for you. 12 Kricketune.

ARequestForMai3.jpg

Use super effective moves with strong style (press L or R when choosing a move) to defeat Criketune in a few hits. Mai and Professor Laventon will reunite with you after the battle and you will face the great Virdeer. This noble Pokémon is one that can be ridden.

ARequestForMai5.jpg

This signals the end of this mission.

Summoned by Commander Kamado

At the start of this mission, a new base camp called Heights Camp will be unlocked in Deertrack Heights. When you leave Jubilife Village, you will be able to select this camp.

Return to Jubilee Village

As soon as you return to Jubilife Village, reports of the powerful Kleiver will begin. After eating and sleeping, you will be summoned by Commander Komado. Head to the headquarters to talk to him. Before you can get inside, you will be interrupted by two people arguing outside - Adaman the leader of the Diamond Clan and Iris the leader of the Pearl Clan.

Called by Commander1.jpg

Seeing their disagreement, you can go to the headquarters and get to the office of Commander Kamado.

Talk to Commander Kamado

Head to Commander Kamado's office to see the meeting between him, Adaman, and Irida. The end of the conversation will result in you being instructed to go there and examine Cleavor.

Forest Lord's Madness

Locations Forest Lord's Madness

The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods mission will have you travel through the following areas. Click on them to learn more about them, such as the Pokémon that appear there:

  • obsidian fields
    • Dyrtrek Heights
    • natural pantry
    • Tidewater Dam
    • Core
    • Grandtree Arena

Talk to the captain

7 Madness of the Forest Lord Part1-.00 03 48 07.Still001.jpg

Your first task is to get more information from Captain Sillin, who is conveniently downstairs. You'll learn more about just how powerful Clearvor is as a noble Pokémon revered by the Pearl Clan, especially in its current frenzied state. Laventon suggests asking about the offers usually left for Cleavor as a first step.

Adaman, the leader of the Diamond clan, soon enters and asks you not only to study Cleavor - but also to suppress him. Mai tells you to find Cleavor at the Grandtree Arena in the heart of Hartwood, and that Lian is his Overseer.

Find Grandtree Arena

Akari or Rei suggests heading to Camp Heights, which is much closer to Hartwood, but not before stopping at the pasture (to the right of the main entrance) to switch your Pokémon if you choose to do so.

Once you're ready, head to the main entrance to Jubilife Village and head to Camp Heights in the Obsidian Fields. Once there, manage your inventory in the crate in the camp and head south towards the marker on the map.

You will pass through Nature's Pantry where you will find another Alpha Cricketune.

5FrenzyLordWoods.png

To get to Hartwood, cross the small bridge made by Bidoof Dam at Tidewater Dam where you will find Alpha Bibarel.

4FrenziLordWoods.jpg

Continue through Hartwood where you will find some Nanab Berry trees for the first time and you will find some primitive stairs. Lian of the Pearl Clan, overseer of Cleavor, Lord of the Forest, will intercept you as soon as you get close enough to the marker. Liam will tell you that Cleavor was hit by lightning right before he went rabid and it's too powerful to face him. He states that he will fight you off if need be.

Trainer Battle! vs. Overseer Lian

2FrenziLordWoods.jpg

Lian has one Pokémon, a level 15 Gumi. Gumi is a Dragon-type Pokémon, which makes it weak for dragon, ice and fey type moves and motion resistant grass, fire, water and electricity.

Lv. fiveGumiThe Dragon
1FrenziLordWoods.jpg

After defeating Lian, he still won't relent and insists that it's still too dangerous because you can't get close enough to give Cleavor his usual offer. The leader of the pearl clan, Irida, joins the conversation and offers to collect the food that Cleavor likes and tasks you with finding a way to get it to him.

Report on what you learned

You could do this before, but now the game directly tells you that you can pick up your card with -, and press X to open the menu fast travel. Do it now to quickly return to the camp and talk to Professor Laventon. After returning to Jubilee Village, head to the Galactic Hall and speak to Professor Laventon again to trigger another cutscene where you will witness the Professor invent time tea balls, which would eventually become commonly known as balms.

Return to the Grandtree Arena

Leave Jubilee Village back to Camp Heights. Adaman will be there with Wyrdeer and will teach you a song on your new Celestica flute. Wyrdeer will also give you a Mind Plate. Now you can call Wyrdeer to go further - very fast! Use it to return to the Grandtree Arena.

Trainer Battle! vs. Irida

As soon as you return to the Grandry Arena, Irida will challenge you. Her Gleison is weak to moves such as Fire, Fight, Stone, and Steel. Don't use Flying, Grass, or Ground Pokémon against him.

Lv.PokemonA type
Lv. fiveGleisonIce

Once she is defeated, she will hand over Soothing Balms so you can fight the Raging Noble Cleaver.

Arezu's predicament

You start in Wallflower with Professor Laventon and either Akira or Rei. Here you will get the recipe smoke bombs. When you leave, a girl named Vessa will come up to you, give you Strange Keystone and asks you to collect the Wisps (all 107 of them) scattered around.

One of them will be located across the river for you to pick up, so cross the bridge and collect this one. When you take Wisp Odd Keystone will absorb it. This will also unlock the Eerie Apparition in the Night request.

ArezusPredicament1.jpg

The next day, outside the barbershop, you will meet Areza, the overseer of the Diamond Clan. This officially starts the mission Arezu Predicament. Speak to Captain Sillin and you will be given more information about the Crimson Lands and Solacheon Ruins, your next destination.

Trainer Battle! vs Akira or Rei

ArezusPredicament2.jpg

Head to the gate of Jubilee Village and you will be stopped by Akira or Rei. They will engage you in a friendly battle and you will go against their Lv. 19 Mime Jr and Lv. 20 Pikachu.

Lv.PokemonA type

Lv. fivePikachuЭлектрический

Mime. The junior is weak against steel, ghost, and poison type moves, but is resistant to combat and psychic moves. However, this will require a normal amount of damage from a wide range of attack types. Pikachu will take the most damage from ground-type attacks.

After defeating Akira or Rey, travel to the Crimson Myrlands and Solacheon Ruins to speak with Overseer Calaba.

Trainer Battle! vs. Volo

After the conversation, Volo will appear and challenge you to fight Lv. 22 Togepi and Gible.

Lv.PokemonA type
Lv. fiveTogepiFairy
Lv. fiveGibbleDragon/Earth

Togepi is weak to Steel and Poison-type attacks, but resistant to Dark, Fighting, and Bug-type attacks. Gible is immune to Electric-type attacks and resistant to Fire-type attacks, but will take a large amount of damage from Dragon, Ice, and Fairy attacks.

After you beat him up, he will heal your Pokémon and ask for your help to find the missing fragment from the ruins from the shadow bandits.

Follow the market to get to the bonfire. The sisters of Miss Fortune, a bandit trio consisting of Charm, Clover and Coin, will approach you.

ArezusPredicament5.jpg

Trainer Battle! vs. Coin

Lv.PokemonA type
Lv. fiveToxicroacPoison/Fight

Coin's Toxicroak will be weak to flying, psychic, and ground-type attacks. Toxicroak, however, is resistant to quite a few types, including attacks like Bug and Grass. Try to stick with using flying-type attacks, or opt for normal, water, fire, or electric moves that will deal a normal amount of damage.

When you defeat the Coin, you will acquire the Wall Fragment. Return to Volo with a fragment in the ruins of Solacheon. Give it to Calaba.

On the sludge mound

After this conversation, head to Sludge Mound to find Ursaluna. Calabra will use his flute and call for Ursaluna, who you will need to fight. Ursaluna is Lv. 26 and Ground and Normal Pokémon. Water, Combat, and Grass-type attacks would be the best options here. Avoid using poison, electric, and ghost moves.

ArezusPredicament6.jpg

Once you defeat Ursaluna, he will calm down. After playing the celestial flute, you will receive a Plate of Earth and the ability to summon Ursaluna and dig for treasure.

Return to Jubilife Village and to Commander Kamado's office. Speak with the Commander and then return to the Crimson Myrlands. Since Ursaluna knows Arezu's scent, you can call Ursaluna to track her down.

Use the blue alarm that comes from Ursaluna to find Arezu's location. After a short cut-scene, head to Adaman. Go to the Brava Arena and fight Lilligant.

How to deal with Lilligant

Lilligant will need to be suppressed with marching balm. She will use two types of attacks. She can be seen jumping into the air and creating a circle as she lands, which you will need to roll out to be able to throw the balm at her without getting hurt. The second attack is a shockwave it sends out that you will need to jump over.

ArezusPredicament7.jpg

Keep dodging these attacks and throw balm at her to quell her frenzy. Once you defeat Lilligant, you will receive the Meadow Plate. Head back to Jubilife Village to report back to Headquarters.

Island Without a Lord

Head to the Galactic Hall to speak with the Commander and get information about your new mission. Here you will talk to Iris and the Commander to start the quest.

Captain Sillin will provide you with information to start the quest, informing you that you will be heading to the Cobalt Coastal Lands. To start this mission, you need to be at least a Third Star rank.

On the cobalt coast

Your first task is to travel to the Cobalt Coast and talk to Iris there.

When you find Irida, she will fight you.

Lv.PokemonA type

Lv. fiveIviNormal

Irida's Glaceon will be weak to attacks like Rock, Fighting, Fire- and Steel. But will take a normal amount of damage from a wide variety of attacks, including electric, water, flying, and grass attacks. Eevee is also weak to combat-type attacks and is only immune to ghost-type attacks.

When you win the battle, the next step is to find Palina at Veilstone Point. Follow the map marker to get to it.

Island of Lords2.jpg

Speak with Palina and then travel to Ipom Hill to meet with Iskan, Overseer of the Diamond Clan. He will ask why you came to visit, and you explain that you want to get to Firepit Island.

To do this, you will need to cook Basculegion's favorite food, which involves capturing a Pokémon at night. He will then give you the task of catching Dusclops at night. You will need to travel to Deadwood Haunt to do this and of course wait until dark.

Island of Lords4.jpg

Return to Iskan when you capture Dusklopov to create food for Basculegion. Once this is done, head to Ginkgo Landing to call to the Basculegion. Polina will appear, and Iskan will call Basculegion. Now you will receive Splash plate and you can use basculegiato drive through Tranquility Bay to reach Firespit Island.

The sisters of Miss Fortune will appear again to take Growlith... Use Basculegionto cross the water to Firebar Island and follow the bandits. When you reach the market, Iskan will meet you.

After defeating the three of them, Polina will join you and Iskan. Growlite will evolve and he will turn into a frenzied noble Arcanine that will need to be suppressed.

in the molten arena

Island of Lords8.jpg

Once the group has crafted the balms, you will be tasked with quelling the madness of Arcanin, Lord of the Isles in the Molten Arena. When you're ready, head to the arena.

Throw Volcano's Balm at the frenzied Arkanin while dodging to avoid attacks. Arcanine will use an attack type where he rushes around the arena. You will be able to see where the attack is concentrated, so try to dodge the attack as he jumps forward. His eyes will flicker just before he attacks, so watch out for that!

It will also jump into the air and pound on the ground, so you'll want to dodge those attacks in a similar way. Sometimes while doing this, he also creates a ring of fire that stays around him for a period of time. He will take the opportunity to quickly attack you as he builds this fire ring. Keep throwing balms at him while he charges or stops from jumping to reduce his health bar as quickly as possible.

When you finally subdue him, you will receive a Fire Plate.

Report your findings

After talking with Irida, report to Commander Kamado to tell him that you have completed the mission.

You can also fight Machoke with psychic type moves, or you can go for Fairy and Flying type attacks. Tangela can also be crafted with a flying type move, so you can use the same Pokemon for both rounds here. Attacks like fire, ice, poison, and beetle are also very effective. Gliskor is weaker than water and ice type attacks.

When you defeat Overseer Ingo, he will summon Snisler for you so you can climb Mount Coronet and the Toxic Slab. Ingo will head back to Jubilee Village, leaving you to use the Sneasler to climb the mountain to Moonview Arena. When you reach the top, Mellie will stop you again. To gain access to the Electrode, you will have to defeat her again.

Lv. fiveScorupiPoison/Beetle

As mentioned earlier, the Skuntank is resistant to Grass, Ghost, Poison, and Dark-type attacks, but weak to Psychic-type moves. Zubat and Skorupi are also weak to Psychic-type moves, so one Pokémon could handle all three here. The last two Pokémon will also take significant damage from Rock-type moves.

After defeating Melly, Adaman will reappear and you can access the Electrode. Melly will create the necessary balms needed to suppress the electrode.

Moonview Arena

Once inside the Moonview Arena, use Mountain Balm to suppress the electrode. Do not forget press Yto dodge numerous attacks The electrode will drop numerous eclectic orbs that will follow you around the arena, as well as electric bombs that will explode around you. In this battle, you will survive by staying on the move all the time and rolling out of the way of those bombs and balls following you.

When you defeat the Electrode, you will receive a Zap Plate. Return to Jubilife Village and speak to Commander Kamado in the Galactic Hall to inform him that you have completed your mission.

Dormant Lord of the Tundra

Talk to Adaman and Iridai

Head to the Galactic Hall with Adaman and Iris to find out what the next quest is from Commander Kamado. You have already suppressed four noble rabid lords, there is one more.

To do this, you will need to go to Alabaster Icelands and take Avalugg. For this mission, you will need to get the fifth star of the rank.

When you reach this rank, it's time to leave Jubilife Village. When you get to the gate, Akari or Rey will be there with Professor Laventon and ask you to have another battle with the trainer.

As before, use steel, ghost, and poison moves against mime. Junior, but remember that he is resistant to combat and psychic moves. Pikachu will take the most damage from ground-type attacks. For Staravia, Electric, Rock and Ice, moves will deal the most damage.

Once you've defeated Akari or Rey, you can travel to Alabaster Icelands.

In the Alabaster Icelands

When you arrive, you will speak to Professor Laventon to get a rundown of the Pokémon available nearby. He will also tell you that Avalugg is quite far away. Adaman and Irida will then join you shortly after your arrival.

Your first objective is to travel to the Awalugg Legacy to meet with Gaerik of the Pearl Clan. Head towards the marker that will appear. After a short discussion about Awalugg, Gaerik will challenge you to battle his Ice-type Pokémon.

Trainer Battle! Vs. Gaeric

Lv.PokemonA type
Lv.48GlaliIce
Lv. fiveFrosslassIce/Ghost

Both Glaley and Frosslass are perfect Pokémon with Rock, Fire, or Steel moves. Glaylee will also take damage from Fighting-type attacks, while Frosslass is also weak to ghost and dark-type moves.

After defeating Gaerik, he will explain that you need to acquire Eternal Ice in order to suppress Awalugg and get help from Overseer Sabi. Luckily, Warden Sabi shows up when everyone is talking about her, so you can talk to her.

Talk to Sabi

Approach overseer Sabi and talk to her. She will fly away on her Braviaria and you will have to catch up with her. Head to the map marker as it looks and climb to the top of the mountain she's waiting for.

When she flies away again, the next place you need to go is the Snowpoint Temple.

Temple Snowpoint

Once here, you will talk to Overseer Sabi, who will disappear inside the temple. You will need to make your way to the top to find it here. Before entering, you are warned that there are puzzles inside the Temple to complete.

Follow the map marker and you will come to the first puzzle. Check out our Snowpoint Temple puzzle guide for answers and more details on how to solve puzzles and open doors.

When you complete the final puzzle and reach the top floor, you will find that the Sabi Guardian is waiting for you. To be able to use the Hisuian Braviary, you will have to prove that you are strong enough in battle.

Lv. fiveelectiveЭлектрический

For this battle, use a Water or Grass type Pokémon to quickly destroy Rhyperior. These water-type moves will also prove powerful against Magmortar, although rock-type and ground-type attacks are also very effective. Electivire can also be defeated with ground-type moves.

After defeating Sabi, head to the rooftop of the Snowpoint Temple to show your strength to Hisuyan Braviarius. And that means another quick fight! Hisuian Braviary is Lv. 54 and Psychic/Flying-type Pokémon. You can use Pokemon with moves like Rock, Ice, Dark, Electric, and Ghost to win this fight.

After this battle, you will receive a Sky Slab and you will be able to ride the Hisui Braviary. Glide to Awalugg's Legacy from the top of the Snowpoint Temple and land on its top to collect a chunk of Eternal Ice.

Sleeping Tundra Lord5.jpg

When you land, your Arc Phone will beep and you will receive a piece of Eternal Ice. Gaerik will arrive and you will give him the Eternal Ice. Your next task is to meet him at the Icepeak Arena to face Awalugg.

Enter the Icepeak Arena from Avalugg's Legacy with the Hisuian Braviary and meet up with Gaerik and Volo. They'll give you some friendly advice on what to expect when you encounter Avalugg, including:

  • ice barriers
  • massive icicles
  • Eruptions of ice from the ground below you

Facing Awalugg

Sleeping Tundra Lord6.jpg

As with the previous lords, you will need to suppress Awalugg, Lord of the Tundra. Travel to Icepeak Mountain and meet Gaerik at the top. He will give you balms using Eternal Ice, which you will need to throw at Awalugg.

Avalugg is huge and will spit out ice balls almost continuously at the start, which you will need to dodge. Throw Snow Balm at him as much as you can during the breaks he takes to recharge and while dodging ice. It will also use an ice beam to blast you, and when you weaken it enough, it will switch between firing ice shards from the ground and shooting them at you.

Hit him with enough snowbalm to overwhelm him and you'll have a plate of icicles when it's finally done. After that, there will be a short conversation, as you will be met at the top by a row of guards.

You will then need to return to Jubilife Village and report to Commander Kamado.
