  • Starting from Season 11, Fortnite on PC will require a DirectX XNUMX-enabled graphics card, as we've already covered in our blog.
  • In the Switch version, indirect shadows with ray tracing appeared.
    • They will increase rendering performance and shadow rendering distance.
  • Enabled multi-threaded particle simulation in the Switch version.
    • This increased the frame rate, especially during free fall.
  • Optimized GPU queries when calculating indirect shading in the Xbox One version.
    • This increased dynamic resolution and improved performance.
Mobile version
  • Updated iPhone 8 scaling options to be closer to other similar devices. Improved overall performance and stability.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • There is a known issue where users have to first log out of the game on one platform in order to start the game on another using the same account. This issue will be resolved in update 10.10.
