The Last Mercenary - Netflix Action Cast with Van Damme

The film was written and directed by David Charon, who previously wrote for other French comedies such as  "Salomon's Secret"  and "  On the other side of the tracks" . While "Muscles and Stretches" from Brussels is the main attraction in  "The Last Mercenary" , the film is actually more of an ensemble story. All of the actors below have a lot of work behind them, from action scenes to gags.

Jean-Claude Van Damme as Richard Breumer

Richard "The Mist" Breumer is a legendary secret agent who participated in the mysterious Operation Goblet and Ball when he was much younger. The character plays on the actor's status as an action and martial arts film icon, including a reference to famous dance scene kickboxer Jean Claude Van Damme  . "The Last Mercenary"  shows a more comedic and self-aware side to 60-year-old Van Damme, but he can still do the splits.

Samir Decatza as Archibald Al Mahmoud

Archibald, or, as he prefers to say, Archie, son of Breumer. As payment for not talking about the covert operation, his mother demanded that Archie receive a monthly stipend and legal immunity from the French government, a privilege he enjoys until he is accused of arms and drug trafficking. Decazza is a little-known French actor, and the role  "The Last Mercenary"  could be a breakthrough. He also played the young Lionel Richie in the French television series  Valid .

Alban Ivanov as Alexander

Alexander is one of the most comedic roles in the film, as a bumbling bureaucrat who breaks his head when he deprives Archie of his immunity. He tries to track down Breumer, but ends up joining him in doing something completely different. Van Damme's partner than someone like Scott Adkins . Alexandra is played by Alban Ivanov, a French comedian who has starred in films such as "Very bad friend"  and " C'est la vie" .

Assa Silla Like Delilah

Delilah is a friend of Archibald's who is involved in drug dealing and eventually joins Brewmer's crew. She proves she's more than capable of handling herself in combat. Silla previously starred in Celine Skyamma's film Bachelorette parties»  and has since appeared in various French projects.

Eric Judor as Paul Lesueur

Paul Leser is one of the main villains of the film. He runs the Foreign Office and, despite being officially a subordinate of Alexander, is in charge of the conspiracy to sell the Big Mac weapons. Lesueur is a comedy veteran with a role Gina in the French remake  Aladdin" .

Miu-Miu As Marjurit

Marguerite is a veteran of the French secret service who took part in Operation Goblet and Ball in the 1990s. She initially appears benevolent, but may have darker plans as well. Miu-Miou is one of the most famous actresses in France, she was a ten-time César nominee and has worked with directors such as Michel Gondry and Louis Malle.

 Supporting Actors And Characters "The Last Mercenary"

Jimo as Momo —  Momo is a friend of Archibald and Delilah who eventually becomes the last member of Breumer's team. Jimo is a comedian who has only recently started acting in films such as  Meet the Malawas  and coming  Les Mechants .

Michel Cremad as Fernand - Archibald's adoptive father figure and superintendent in his apartment building, it is later revealed that Fernand was a retired secret agent. French-Algerian actor, Cremandes previously appeared in  Micmacs  и  Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, the latter based on classic french comic style  Tintin .

Patrick Timsit as Commandant Jouard.  Jouard is a high-ranking government official who makes Alexander jealous. Patrick Timsit is a veteran comedian and writer who has been nominated for four Cesars.

Valerie Kapriski as Minister Sivardière  “Sivardière is a government minister who is called upon to deal with the removal of Archibald's immunity. Caprisky is another actress with many years of experience, best known for her appearances in French films such as  Movements de Desir  и  Special Correspondents.
