Presentation of NVidia GeForce RTX 3000 - Stream in English
NVIDIA unveiled its next set of flagship GPUs at the GeForce Special Event on September 1st, including the highly anticipated RTX 3090. Here's how it went.
For nearly two years, the RTX 2080 Ti has been the go-to gaming GPU (despite the significantly more expensive Titan RTX), but it's time to replace it with the new Ampere cards.

What is RTX 3090?
The next generation of RTX cards will be based on the RTX 20 series, which includes the 2060, 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti (as well as "super" versions of the first three).
The 30 series, dubbed Ampere, is an evolution of these cards, and some leaks suggest the 3090 will be twice as powerful as the 2080 Ti.
The 2080 Ti boasts 11GB of VRAM, which was unheard of when they were released, but the 3090 should have a whopping 24GB of VRAM.
Two cards, 3090 and 3080, are due out in September, with other cards in the series coming later in 2020.
