There used to be a rather large factory in the Wild Territory, from which only ruins now remain. Many stalkers found their end in them: all kinds of evil spirits divorced there, as if it converges there from all over the Zone. According to rumors, however, there is something very important at this plant, so there are always plenty of people who want to try their luck.

Description

Part of the abandoned Rostok factory, called the Wild Territory, unlike Bar, is truly wild. The area is a haven for various mutants: jerboas, blind dogs, pseudo-dogs, snorks and bloodsuckers live here. Anomalous activity is also very high - due to the technogenic nature of the landscape and the abundance of abandoned buildings, the area is rich in such anomalies as "elektra", "kissel" and "frying", which in turn contributes to the generation of a large number of artifacts of an electrical, chemical and thermal nature - it is possible to find up to seven types of artifacts, such as: "Flash", "Slug", "Moonlight", "Bengal fire", "Drops", "Film", "Fireball". If you enter the location after midnight, you can find up to ten artifacts of an electrical nature. Especially often come across artifacts "Bengal fire".

The wild territory would be completely ignored by most stalkers if it were not for its strategically important location: the shortest path from Bar to Yantar Lake, where the mobile laboratory of scientists is located, runs through the territory. This route is used not only by free stalkers - bandits and mercenaries ambush here.

Since the Wild Territory is relatively sparsely populated, this location is replete with a large number of caches.

Interesting Facts

  • ♦In the tunnel near which the helicopter crashed, there is the corpse of Gordon Freeman, next to which there is a modified Black Hawk. In the next container there is a sawn-off shotgun, which appears in the quest “Find the family gun” (the stalker says that there is a lair of bloodsuckers, although in fact they are not there, but there is a cluster of “electro” anomalies). Also in the tunnel you can find the artifact "Film".
  • ♦The Wild Territory mini-map ends when you go to the Bar, that is, it is underdrawn.
  • ♦ At this location, the GG first encounters representatives of three previously unseen groups: mercenaries (if the quest to protect the village of beginners from mercenaries has not been completed before), scientists and zombies.
  • ♦After passing the laboratory X16, units of "Debt" and singles will come here. Dolgovtsy will sit near the entrance to the location, and loners, if they do not find a free parking space, will go to Yantar.
  • ♦There are many artifacts of electrical and thermal nature at the location. Expensive electrical artifacts usually appear after midnight.
  • ♦ At the construction site, every time you visit the location, mercenaries will appear. However, after the Burner is turned off, they will no longer appear at the construction site.
  • ♦After the destruction of the Wolfhound group, mercenaries in exoskeletons will appear.
  • ♦Sometimes, when returning from Amber, the mode of appearance of mutants at the transition to the Bar may behave inappropriately. In this case, you can become a witness to a horde of mutants, in which blind dogs, pseudo-dogs, jerboas, and in addition to them, three or four snorks and / or a bloodsucker can meet at the same time. In such a flock, there can be about 30 individuals! This option is possible if the Wild Territory is previously completely cleared of mutants. This phenomenon can be used when passing the quest "Destroy the Duty group on the Sprout" so as not to spoil your reputation.
  • ♦This location has several exits off the map:
    1. Near the transition to the Bar, you first need to jump onto the KamAZ, and then go through the pipe to the border of the territories.
    2. Near the construction site, where you need to jump onto the roof of the hangar, which is quite difficult.

Full passage of the quest:

This quest will activate shortly after you deal with the snipers and the second group of bandits. You will need to approach the northern part of the map. As I said, you will face some new thugs (#1). You will also receive a distress signal from the scientists. Looks like they crashed nearby. The scientists are currently being attacked by enemy units and you will have to help them. Start running towards the crash site. Ignore the artifacts because you will be allowed back here very soon. You will need to find a small passage that leads to your destination (#2).

Keep moving straight ahead. You will need to contact Professor Kruglov as soon as possible because he is in danger. You will encounter at least 3-4 soldiers along the way (#2).

You should be able to get to the crash site and some scientists very soon (#1). You could try to help them, however it would be better to focus on saving Kruglov. You shouldn't have any problems finding it. Kruglov is about to be attacked by one of the bandits (#2). You will have to kill this bandit because Kruglov won't be able to defend himself because he doesn't even have a weapon.

Just don't talk to Kruglov. Instead, try to rescue the other scientists. You should be able to secure this entire area within a minute. Most of the enemy soldiers are standing near the destroyed helicopter (#1). Be careful though. Some of the bandits may be hiding (#2). You will also need to find them in order not to be surprised in the future. After the battle is over, make sure you check the bodies of the fallen enemies. Look for medical supplies and ammo for your newly acquired weapons (don't worry about the scope, you'll get it later).

Full passage of the quest:

The professor will ask you to accompany him to the Amber sector. I wouldn't recommend turning down his offer because that's where you need to go anyway, and if you choose to complete this quest, you can also get some extra rewards. Start following Kruglov (#1). He will probably make at least one stop (depending on how many bandits you actually killed). After that, he will hide (#2). This means that you must prepare for the attack of the bandits.

You shouldn't have any problems killing bandits (#1). They may appear nearby so you don't have to look for them. Try to kill them from a long distance without giving them a chance to surround you. Try to get to the tunnel entrance (#2). Kruglov will ask you to secure this area. He will be waiting for you here. Save the game!

Once you have reached the exit, you must make a stop. As you may have noticed, there are several... zombies in this area (#1)! Despite what you think, they can hurt you. Zombie characters use different types of weapons, mostly pistols and light machine guns. I would recommend killing these monsters from a greater distance. You will have to kill three zombies. You must now wait for the professor to join you (#2). Once he's here, talk to him. Important! If you can't start a conversation, you've probably run into a bug and you'll have to reload this entire section of the map. Kruglov will thank you for your help. He will also invite you to the Amber sector. I wouldn't recommend going there right away. Try visiting the Bartender so you can give him a flash drive. Be careful though.
