TASKS:

1. Get to the power plant

Received from: This quest starts automatically after you enter Pripyat

Starting point: 1 on the map

What should be done:

a) talk to other soldiers (1 on the map)

b) follow the leader (2 on the map is the route to the underground parking)

c) find a passage leading to the site of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (3 on the map)

d) find the entrance leading to the sarcophagus

Full passage of the quest:

You will be able to complete three of the four tasks here. The only exception will be the task of sacrophages. We will come back to this later during the game. This is not a difficult mission, however you should save your game quite often. You will be dealing with many sniper units, so try using different items for some much needed cover. Check out the previous section of the guide if you want to know where to find all the snipers.

Take a few steps forward to meet other stalkers. Now you have to wait for the end of the briefing. Start running forward (#1). I strongly recommend that you listen to the squad leader. It will tell you exactly where to shoot. The most important here will be the quick elimination of snipers (#2). Your teammates will be able to fight the rest of the enemy units.

You will have to repeat all these steps to get to the opposite end of this street. Now you will turn right. There are more enemy soldiers here that you have to take care of (#1). Beware because most of them will be hiding inside the buildings. You should eventually reach the entrance leading to the parking lot (#2).

Head to the underground parking. You will have to kill some enemy soldiers here (#1), however you can also wait for your squad members to deal with this problem. Do not forget about the possibility of checking the bodies of dead enemies. Also try talking to the squad leader (#2). Now is the time to start fulfilling the mission of the hotel.

Once you pick up the device from the hotel (read the description of the second quest), you will be allowed to proceed to the north exit. I would not recommend moving in a straight line because you would be exposed to enemy fire. Instead, try choosing the east side of the map. Unfortunately, you will have to kill a sniper here (#1) as well as a small group of enemy soldiers (#2).

You should be able to reach the stadium entrance in about a minute. Try using the front gate (#1). You will also need to make sure the area has been secured. After you've entered the stadium, a short cutscene (#2) should appear on the screen. After that, the game will automatically load a new map, so if you want to explore the rest of Pripyat, don't get close to the stadium.

2. Secret cache in Pripyat - part 2

What should be done:

a) get to one of the hotels in the Pripyat region (4 on the map)

b) find a room with a secret cache (4 on the map)

c) find out what is inside the cache (4 on the map)

Full passage of the quest:

Don't even think about taking on this mission if you haven't gotten this entire area. You will have to kill all enemy snipers. Most of them stand on top of large buildings. The hotel is one of the biggest buildings here so you can't miss it (#1). I would recommend that you choose the main entrance (#2).

The entrance will probably be guarded by one enemy. As a result, you will have to kill him quickly (#1). Now you should find a small ladder. This will allow you to reach one of the upper floors (#2).

You should be able to jump through the window very soon (#1). Repeat this action to get closer to the marked area of ​​the map. Now all you have to do is enter the correct hotel room (#2). Once you're inside, head to the small room to your left.

Here you will need to find two objects (#1) - some new documents and a decoder. You will be able to use this tool towards the end of the game. Doing this should allow you to complete this quest. You will also receive further instructions.

3. Secret laboratory

Received from: This quest starts automatically after you have completed Secret cache on assignment Pripyat

Starting point: 4 on the map

What should be done:

a) find a secret entrance

b) use the decoder to open the steel door

c) find out what is inside the secret laboratory

As before, you won't be able to start this mission right away. You must be patient. We will return to this mission once you reach a certain area inside the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
