Sam Barlow's Immortality is divided into three separate parts - Ambrosio, Minsky and Just Two. Ambrosia - Part One

Immortality mostly revolves around the three main characters - Marissa Marcel, the One and the Other. Marissa Marcel is a French woman who suffered sexual abuse by German soldiers during World War II. She was saved by One Who is an immortal being capable of taking the form of humans. The other is also an immortal being and is usually seen with the One, and both beings are considered a couple. The nature of their relationship is unknown.

The One was responsible for saving Marissa by taking her form. The immortal being is drawn to sex, violence, and art, which explains why Marissa makes films related to these themes. We see the roles that Marissa plays throughout Immortality and discover the secrets hidden in the clips of Ambrosio, Minsky and Two of Everything.

Ambrosio is the first feature film in which Marissa plays a leading role. The story revolves around a Catholic priest being manipulated by a woman posing as a monk. It turns out that the monk has made a pact with Satan and is manipulating the priest into committing vile sins.

The film was never released to the public because the film's director, John Fisher, stole the negatives and sabotaged Ambrosio's release. During the filming of the film, director of photography John Durick is amazed by who controlled Marissa's body. They find themselves in a romantic relationship and see nothing else in the clips.

Minsky - Part Two

Minsky is the second film in Immortality and we see Marissa (The One) return. She plays the role of Franny, who is the mistress of the murdered artist. Actor Carl Greenwood plays the role of a New York City detective and is in charge of uncovering the truth about the artist's murder.

John returns to Minsky, hitting Carl with drugs and alcohol. Through secret clips, it is revealed that Carl is actually the Other, who appears to be the One's counterpart. Later in the clips, The Other One tries to pit Marissa and John against each other, claiming that John doesn't appreciate Marissa.

• There are three secret clips that you can play when Marissa goes to her apartment. Click on her after she goes to her apartment, when she has sex in the bathroom, and when she and Blondie are on the couch.

There seems to be a conflict between the One and the Other, and things start to tense up as we move through the frames. At some point, Carl Greenwood (The Other) is killed with a fake gun. It was the One who killed the Other, but people didn't know what really happened. Marissa disappears and filming stops. Again, the film was never released. Actress Amy Archer somehow takes over footage of Carl in his last moments, and the Other manages to take control of her body and find himself a new host.

We will also find out what really happened to Marissa through secret clips. She was the one who killed John after revealing her true identity to him. John didn't want to collude with the demon, which led to a confrontation and eventually John was killed. This secret clip can be easily missed and is one of the most integral parts of the story. Odin takes the form of John and is the last we see of the character in the film.

Two of Everything - Part Three

The third and final movie in Immortality takes place and we see Marissa return. While it is not clear how she is alive again 30 years later, it is later revealed that The One lived in two bodies at the same time. Both John and Marissa hosted The One.

In Two of Everything, Marissa plays the role of pop star Maria, as well as Maria's doppelgänger. The story revolves around Mary, who is killed and her body doubles in size, seeking revenge. The film also stars Amy Archer (The Other) also in a film that builds to a tense climax.

If you find enough specific clips, a bonus clip will show Amy (The Other) realizing what's wrong with Marissa (The One). Marissa is in a vegetative state and the ending leaves room for interpretation by the player. We see the Other pour gasoline on Him and set fire to Marissa's body.

In the final moments of the game, The One breaks the fourth wall and tells the player, "Now I'm a part of you." Immortality ends up implying that you, the player, are now the host for The One. What has not been fully explained is that there may be more parasitic beings that lived in the fictional world of Immortality.

Who is the One?

The origin of the One and the Other is not clearly explained. But it is implied that these are ancient entities or demons that have existed since time immemorial. One implied that he orchestrated the death of Jesus Christ. The mysterious entities have taken the form of various people throughout history, and it is not known how they were created.

Ancient beings can express emotions and are drawn to different things. The One is drawn to art, sex and violence, and drawn to people. In comparison, the Other does not share such closeness to humans and simply wants to survive. Both find themselves in conflict but end up reunited at the end of the film. It is unknown if Odin is truly dead or if he may move on to another host in the future.
