Quest description: In the Rift, you met a lone traveler, a Fatui mage named Katarina. Looks like she's wandering the Rift for a reason. Ask her what's the matter.

Where to find the quest Lost in a Foreign Land

The task "Missing in a foreign land" must be taken from Katarina, having defeated her in Glowing aisles next to the portal. A prerequisite is the completion of the quest "Beginning of the exploration of the depths».

Travel to the above area and find the Lone Electro Cicine Mage. The magician must be defeated and a cut-scene will start, activating the task Lost in a Foreign Land.

How to complete the quest Lost in a Foreign Land

This quest starts with a fight.

Defeat the molders

Annoying mobs can trap you in a bubble and immobilize you, although during this you will receive almost no damage. Molds are good at taking damage from pyro attacks, so change your character and quickly kill the monsters.

After the victory, return to Katarina and talk to her again.

Go to the hidden camp of the magician Fatui

Follow the quest marker, which will lead you to the hidden camp of the magician Fatui. Katarina is already there and you need to talk to her again. She will say that she needs to rest and ask to come back later. This will complete the task, you will receive 30 source stones and you will be able to take another task from her on the next real day, “Missing in a Foreign Land: In the Footsteps”.

Return to Katarina after the real 24 hours and talk to her.

This time, she asks for help in search of Nikolai, who fell behind the detachment during the retreat. There is a hint left by Nikolai that should help in our event. She needs to be found.

Travel to the lowest portal from stone halls and head straight to the cave.

We leave for the place indicated in the diary of Nikolai. This area is inhabited by the Guardian of the Ruins, which must be killed in order to open the grate located behind it.

Behind the bars is a note from Nikolai. Take it and read it, while receiving Sergeant's Bloodstained Chevron.

Tell Katarina about the clues you found

Return to the camp to Katarina, hand over to her the found note, the chevron of the sergeant and the diary of Nikolai. This completes the quest chain.
