Walkthrough The Quarry - Maps, clues and evidence.

Here you can find the full walkthrough of The Quarry from all chapters and the best ending "Everyone Survived". This will unlock the trophy and the Rough Night or Rough Night achievement (keeping everyone alive).

The guide is as spoiler-free as possible and combines the best ending with all other compatible trophies and collectibles in one playthrough. Every dialogue choice and QTE input is listed here. We will combine as much information as possible to get other ending-related trophies. This way you can reduce the number of playthroughs required for all trophies/achievements. Some collectibles cancel each other out (different options leading to different areas). It is not possible to get all collectibles in 1 playthrough. Also know that you can move faster by holding L1/LB/SHIFT to speed things up. For the trophy to keep everyone alive, only playable characters (Jacob, Nick, Ryan, Dylan, Max, Caitlin, Emma, ​​Abigail, Laura) must survive.

For the best ending (everyone is alive at the end), be sure to follow each decision and QTE exactly as described. Fixing the wrong QTE can result in instant character death, so be very careful. It is recommended to manually back up the game at the beginning of each chapter (PS4 / PS5 settings > manage saved app data > USB or PS + Cloud). If you make a mistake, you can copy the save without having to replay the entire history. 90% of the options have no long-term consequences and only change the next line of dialogue. Important options that affect anything can be seen in the pause menu in the "Paths" section. They will also be displayed on the screen as "Selected Path" or "Path Updated". Any other choice does not decide the question of life and death. If you mess up something that doesn't update the path, don't worry about it. Interactions with collectibles and other objects in the environment are always normal and do not affect anything in the story unless specifically stated in the walkthrough. Skipping optional dialogs is always a good thing.

There is no chapter selection during the story! It is only after you unlock a chapter that you choose a chapter, but this is based on what decisions you have made prior to that particular chapter. Suppose you were to mess up a QTE early on and the character would die as a result, and then the character would still be dead in subsequent chapters via chapter selection, which means you would have to replay from the previous chapter where that character died.

You can blind run first if you want, but with this walkthrough, you'll easily have all characters survive the first run if you follow it exactly as described. Keep in mind that if you make a different choice, it could have serious consequences later on, and the guide might no longer be applicable to you (because you'll end up with different dialogue or different scenes in general).

The game begins with frames of a moving car. You play as Laura, who, along with her boyfriend Max, goes to a summer camp to work as a counselor.

Actions to be taken:

Get out of the car and open the trunk.

Timing choice - "Dig into things". Click the button to do so. Laura will find an important document, the path has been updated. This will open up a new dialogue later on, although Max will be unhappy that you were rummaging through his things.

At the bottom of the screen glow, go there and press the desired button.

Now you can explore the forest and find some items. Move up from where you started. The camera will change and you will see the first Fool tarot card.

Clues and evidence:

  2. From the tree, follow the path to the right, and then immediately to the left. There will be illusionist chest.
  3. Return to the fork where you turned to the chest. There is a road to the right. Going through it you will see another fork. Go down the right path again. There will be broken cage.

There are no more important items at the location. Return to the fork, from where you turned to the cage and go along the second path, and then to the left. The road is wide enough so you won't get lost. Keep moving until a cutscene starts.

Sheriff Travis will appear. You need to talk to him. Choose more honest and compliant answers, this is where the first choice of path will occur:

  • Honesty;

Now you can explore the location, you have already been here in the role of Laura. Find three items.

There is nothing to do there, so immediately go to the main hall with tables and turn right. Near the stairs there are the bags you need, but it's too early to take them. From the bags, turn right again. Jacob should be facing the doors. The kitchen will be on the left. Go into it. The camera will change and you can pick up Tarot card "Temperance".

After that, you can look around the house, chat with two guys, or immediately take the bags and continue the story.

Jacob is talking to Caitlin. Select answers:

There is a choice of path. Jacob can break the gas line on the car or remove the distributor slider. An important segment of the plot will begin. It plays a role here whether you took the bags in the first chapter as Abi and Emma or not. If taken, Dylan will lose his arm. This cannot be changed.

Now you can go to the right of the stairs - this will trigger a cut-scene.

Talk to Emma:
