Walkthrough Pilgrim's Progress Dying Light 2

2036 15 years after the Fall. We play as a traveler between cities - pilgrim Aiden.

Climb up to the ledge

After the initial cutscenes explaining the story, you are taken straight to an open area outside to begin the game. Follow the initial objective markers, which will guide you through climbing rock ledges, introducing basic parkour moves.

At the top you'll catch up with Spike, the man Aiden is currently traveling with. Continue following him through the forest.

Follow Spike

Continue following Spike up a couple of ledges and he will eventually stop in a small clearing.

Collect honey and chamomile

Spike points to a nearby Hive and invites you to collect honey from it. Honey, an item needed to create Medicine. Hold R3 triggers Survivor Sense, which highlights items in the environment that can be collected.

Turn left from the hive and you should notice a ledge. Walk up to it and use your Survivor Sense again and you should notice some chamomile below and on top of the ledge, which is another item needed to craft the cure. Collect at least 2 of them.

Return to Spike

Once you have grabbed both types of items, return to Spike.

Make a cure

After Spike finishes talking, you will receive the blueprint. Open the Craft menu when prompted and craft a medicine.

Follow Spike

Continue following Spike through the forest after crafting the Cure until you reach a gate in front of a large house. Follow him into the yard.

Searching for a home

Walk around to the left side of the house, then crouch under the partially open garage door to get inside.

You can use your Survivor Sense inside the house to discover items that can be looted, as well as some items to interact with with a highlighted red aura and a magnifying glass. THIS FIRST AREA HAS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT COLLECTIBLE . Look at the table in the back where you can see the newspaper highlighted in red using Flair. Unlike most other items highlighted in red, this is actually considered a collectible that is added to your inventory. If you miss it here, you can't go back for it after leaving this prologue area, so be sure to grab Article from the newspaper October 11, 2020 Now.

Turn around from there and enter the blue door on the opposite side of the room to force Spike to enter and open the opposite set of double doors to the next room. There are a few other items here that you can interact with using your senses, but none of them count as collectibles or are required for progression.

You can search here as long as you like, then interact with the double doors at the far end next to the piano to continue to the next area.

Explore the garden

There will be a short scene where Aiden is reading an item on the bar in the next room, then you will need to explore the area outside to continue. There are a few more items you can interact with, but to progress you need to go to the back table and interact with farewell letter on the table in the suicide garden. It is also considered a collectible and cannot be missed.

Join Spike on the Terrace

Spike will call you to the terrace above. Climb up the leafy parts of the house to reach the upper area, then go up and interact with Spike. He gives you the bat, then you talk to him. Options with white text are optional additional options for more information or more conversation, while yellow options advance the conversation. If there are multiple yellow options, they both advance the conversation but have no major consequences until you reach a choice that is timed.

Get to the radio antenna

After talking to Spike, he leaves alone, and Aiden plans to continue to a nearby radio tower to try to contact someone. Go down the side of the terrace through the area with the missing railing, then follow the path.

You will reach a high ledge above the lake. You need to go down to the building below, which can be done by following the cliff path down to the left or simply jumping off the ledge into the water.

Along the way, we can dive into the lake and find a sunken boat underwater.

In the building you will encounter your first set of infected. You can deal with them and search the area for more supplies, then continue along the marked path. You will need to jump into the water in the next area, then climb onto the top of the truck and onto the hanging bus to get to the road above.

On the road above, you will need to climb onto the top of the truck to start moving into the tunnel. Stay on top of the structures moving between vehicles to avoid all the sleeping infected below in the tunnel.

On the other side of the tunnel there will be more rocks to climb. Follow the path, using the broken ladders and other structures to continue towards the top.

By going through the tunnel and swinging on the rope, you will automatically increase your parkour level and the game will prompt you to unlock your first parkour skill.

Continue up the rocks to the marked area to find a building.

Finding a Safe Place to Sleep

If you want, you can enter the building first by jumping through the window, you can, but you need to do something outside first to be able to progress.

Interact with the red garage door on the other building to progress.

Climb up to the ledge

After the initial cutscenes explaining the story, you are taken straight to an open area outside to begin the game. Follow the initial objective markers, which will guide you through climbing some ledges, introducing basic parkour moves.

Clean the infested area

After interacting with the door, a number of infected will appear, along with a special jumper. The game prompts you to avoid power attacks while dodging, and you need to clear all the infected in the area in order to progress.

Once the special infected are killed, the others will stop spawning, so you need to clear them to continue. Return to the garage door and interact with it again, then interact with the generator inside to turn on the power to the main building.

Wait until the morning

Go into the main building and upstairs. You can use your senses to spot footprints on the floor leading to a bookshelf, which you can push out of the way to enter the safe zone. Interact with the bed to sleep until morning.

Aiden will have a flashback scene, then when he wakes up he will automatically proceed to use the radio in the room. You can cycle between frequencies if you wish, but the correct one to choose for progress is 140,200 MHz.

Meet a contact in the subway tunnels

Aiden talks to the contact on the radio, then you need to move through the area and get to the subway tunnels. Follow the marked path back down the mountains past the radio tower. You can use the nearby zipline to get down quickly.

THERE IS ANOTHER COLLECTIBLE AVAILABLE IN THIS AREA. In the area immediately after the zipline there is a church building. You need to go inside this building to find a collectible that is currently only available to obtain right now. If you miss it, you cannot currently go back for it. Inside there is a book on the white covered table in front, interact with it to pick it up "Paradise Lost, Book IV" (memorabilia). You can also use Sense to find collectibles like this one, they will have a yellowish-orange circle representing the highest rarity of the items.

After that, there are no major points to pay attention to in this prologue area, so you can continue moving forward towards the goal.

You will need to go down to the highway and then jump off the highway into the water to move towards the subway tunnels. There are some Infected in this area that you can kill if you want, but there aren't too many useful crafting supplies to be found, so you can just avoid all the Infected and continue towards the goal. You will need to jump from the building to a nearby cliff and then onto a train car to reach a higher area.

Find Spike's contact

After the scenes you will be alone again, looking for where the contact went. You will now have a flashlight that you can turn on with :d power: help . Move towards the goal and get over the crate and wooden barrier with yellow paint to continue through the tunnel.

You can jump over the monkey bars in the tunnel by jumping towards them, and then jump again at the farthest part of the swing to move forward. You'll eventually reach a dead end where you need to jump into a vent to continue.

Eliminate masked bandits

After going through the tunnels, you will encounter your first human enemies. The game will give a tutorial on how to execute the perfect blocks that you need to make to be able to continue. By completing three perfect blocks, you will be able to kill this first enemy.

Two more enemies will appear from the doors in the room, but they can be defeated immediately.

You will automatically increase your combat level after defeating these two enemies, and the game will prompt you to unlock your first combat skill, jump shot in storage, which can be executed after a perfect block.

Check contact

Go back and interact with the contact by the wall and he will give Aiden more information, as well as an extremely important point, VGM access key.

Eliminate the thugs

After talking to him, a group of three more enemies will appear and the game will prompt you to perform three hits in the hideout. Just like the previous Perfect Block tutorial, you need to complete them three times before you can actually defeat the enemies.

Once this group of three is defeated, another group of three will appear that you can deal with immediately.

Escape with contact

After the enemies are defeated, go back and interact with the contact for a scene.

Escape from Waltz and his henchman

After the scenes are over, you just need to run through the tunnels to escape. There are no items to grab here, so continue following the objective marker.

Get to Vildor

After falling into the water, your goal will change, but you will need to continue following the goals in the same way. Once you reach the end of the tunnels and start climbing the stairs, this quest will end and the next one will begin immediately.

That's it for the Pilgrim's Progress story quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
