Raft: How to make Compacted Garbage (Game currency)
Here's how to make a trash recycler and get compressed trash (Trash Cubes) in Raft.
Official release Raft adds many new locations, creatures, and items, but perhaps most importantly, it's a new in-game currency known as scrap metal cubeswhich can be made from various materials. This guide will tell you how to get Scrap Cubes, including which crafting station you will need and what materials you will have to collect.
How to create a recycler in Raft
Scrap Cubes in Recycler, a new station added in Raft: Final Chapter. You will need a blueprint to create this station and it can be obtained from radio towers. To get to the radio tower, you will need to create receiver и three antennas, which can be created for researcher's desk. Finally, you will need a battery to power the receiver. Here are the recipes:
Crafting the Explorer's Table in Raft:
- 14 boards.
- 2 Scrap
Receiver Recipe in Raft:
- 8 boards.
- 6 Plastic.
- 2 circuit boards.
- 1 Hinge.
Antenna Recipe in Raft:
- 4 Scrap
- 1 PCB.
- 1 bolt.
Battery Recipe in Raft:
- 1 copper ingot.
- 6 Plastic.
- 3 Scrap
Once you've crafted these items, follow these steps to find the location of the radio tower:
- Place one receiver on the raft.
- Battery powered receiver.
- Place one antenna at least two blocks from the receiver and one block above the receiver.
- Place the second antenna at least three blocks from the first antenna and two blocks from the receiver.
- Place the third antenna at least three blocks from the other two antennas and two blocks from the receiver.
The receiver will show the location of the radio tower on the screen once you have the correct configuration. Go there to pick up the Recycler blueprint from the top floor. Here's how to create a recycler:
- Collect the following items:
- 6 Plastic.
- 4 metal ingots.
- 2 bolts.
- 2 loops.
- 1 PCB.
- Open research table.
- Place recycler blueprint in the Research slot.
- Click the "Research«.
- Click the "Learn» next to Recycler.
Creating Compacted Garbage in Raft
Once the recycler is crafted, place it on the raft and insert a fresh battery. Now you can start making compressed trash.
To make one compacted trash cube, load one of the following items into the Recycler (required quantities are in parentheses):
- Stone (50x).
- Plastic (30x).
- Palm Leaf (30x).
- Feather (30x).
- Wood Plank (20x).
- Seaweed (15x).
- Rope (15x).
- Nail (15x).
- Vine Gu (12x).
- Clay (10x).
- Sand (10x).
- Scrap (10x).
- Glass (8x).
- Skin (6x).
- Ore (5x).
- Dirt (5x).
- Giant Clam (5x).
- Ingot (4x).
- Bolt (4x).
- Hinge (4x).
- Brick (3x).
- Wool (2x).
Wool is probably the most efficient material for making compacted trash.. This resource can be obtained from llamas, which can be grown and sheared. It takes approximately 10 minutes real time.
You can travel to any large island with a trading post and use compressed debris cubes to buy upgrade materials, fishing lures and other survival essentials. And that's all you need to know about how to get a new currency in Raft.
