RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS RELATIONSHIP GUIDE
While Raid: Shadow Legends has many different difficulty levels, kinship is the cornerstone that it's all based on, changing how effective units are against some other types. Here is a list of relatednesses and their interactions:
- ➤Magic (blue): beats spirit (green), weak to strength (red)
- Spirit (Green): hits strength (red), weak to magic (blue)
- ➤Strength (red): superior to magic (blue), weak to spirit (green)
- ➤Emptiness (purple): no opposition, no weakness
Remembering to always match your champions with the kinship they are strongest against will make things a lot easier in the long run.
RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS GUIDE: CHAMPIONS
Anyone who has seen or heard anything about Raid: Shadow Legends knows how important champions are to the game as you assemble the best team of characters and take them on against formidable foes. You start with two champions, but you can collect more by using shards in the portal, giving you a better chance at various potential quality levels:
- ➤Mysterious Shard: Common, Uncommon, Rare
- ➤Ancient Shard: rare, epic, legendary
- Void Shard: Rare, Epic, Legendary
- ➤Sacred Shard: epic, legendary
It's not a good idea to invest too much in the regular champions you get early in the game, but it's much better to invest in Void, Epic or Legendary Champions as they are much harder to find and much harder to replace.
You can also use Fusion to fuse four specific champions into a new one with a higher rarity. But remember, it's always a good idea to have epic or legendary champions in your hands, so don't merge cards you have copies of.
RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS GUIDE: ARTIFACTS
Artifacts in Raid: Shadow Legends are basically items that give buffs to your champions. They can be obtained in quests and in the campaign, as well as improved or sold for silver:
- ➤Champions can equip six artifacts.
- ➤Using more than one Artifact from a certain set gives the Champion a buff.
- Basic sets give an effect if you wear two items of this type - for example, Life gives a 15% HP buff
- ➤Extended sets require four parts, but their effect is much stronger.
- ➤When you upgrade Artifacts, they get bonus effects.
As with champions, it's a good idea to manage your silver wisely and not upgrade every item you get when it could soon be replaced with a better one.

Using the scroll resource, it is possible to specialize a chosen champion through a series of upgrades called Mastery. Needless to say, it's only worth doing this with epic or legendary champions, and it would certainly be a waste to put this into common ones. Here's how masteries work in Raid: Shadow Legends:
- Mastery allows you to unlock upgrades from three sections - offense, defense and support.
- Scrolls are required to unlock these buffs, which can be purchased from the shop or obtained by raiding the Minotaur's Labyrinth.
- Mastery is a great way to make your champions more focused and hone them into the role you want them to play.
RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS: SILVER, JEWELRY AND ENERGY GUIDE
Raid: Shadow Legends is almost impossible to get by without spending some in-game currency. Here's how they all work:
- ➤Silver is used to upgrade artifacts and summon new champions.
- Gems are used to unlock and upgrade the mine, which gives you more gems, to buy ancient shards, and can be used to buy many other currencies in the store.
- ➤Gems can be bought with cash in the store.
On top of that, there is energy, a resource that you must spend to complete almost any quest or mission. Energy regenerates up to the limit, so it's worth making sure you use excess energy above the set limit or you won't benefit from this regeneration. Energy refills can also be bought at the store for gems.
A significant portion of these currencies can be earned by completing Daily Quests and Challenges, so be sure to bookmark these missions. It's also important to say that you can buy potions, experience bonuses, and clan boss keys from the shop, but we've only gotten close to that.
RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS GUIDE: GAME MODES
Raid: Shadow Legends has many different game modes where you can earn vital currency to upgrade your champions. Here is a summary:
- ➤Campaign: central story, fighting through multiple increasingly difficult stages to free Teleria from the shadows.
- ➤Dungeons: in Each Dungeon has two waves of enemies to face before the final boss - note that the Dungeon bosses are harder than the campaign bosses.
- ➤Faction Wars: a mode in which you select a specific crypt, consisting of several stages of battle.
- ➤Clan boss: for this you need to join a clan and acquire the clan boss key, which will allow you to fight a formidable opponent and get decent rewards.
- ➤Arena: here you will fight with other players, getting rewards for winning
Needless to say, the campaign is the best place to start, and until you get a good selection of champions with some upgrades, you'll want to stay away from others first.

Combat in Raid: Shadow Legends is fairly easy at first, but as you progress, they can become more and more difficult. But here are a few tips to keep in mind in any fight:
- ➤Use buffs and debuffs effectively: certain attacks and abilities can buff your units or weaken an enemy, and frankly, applying debuffs at the right time is the easiest way to win tough battles. This is how you nullify a strong enemy and strike above your weight.
- ➤Unlock mastery whenever you can: if you can unlock it, some masteries give a unique advantage against certain opponents, so they are worth having when facing certain enemies
- ➤Do not neglect the items: the buffs you can get when using certain sets can really be the difference between life and death.
- ➤Remember the recovery time: Attacks and abilities have a cooldown and are worth considering in any strategy you use against an enemy so you can hit them when they are effective.
