Rainbow Six Sweden Major 2021: stream, schedule, teams

The Rainbow Six Major is heading to Sweden in November, where 16 of the world's best teams are set to compete for $500 plus six Invitational points for 000. We have everything you need to know right here.

The Major for Rabuga 6 is back again and this time it's heading to Sweden for the third and final event of the year. In the Six Sweden Major, which will take place in Gavle, 16 teams from all over the world will compete for $500, as well as some sweet Six Invitational Points for the 000 season.

Like the Six Mexico Major in August, the Sweden Major will follow the same format. The group stage will take place from 8 to 10 November, and then from 12 to 14 November it will move to the playoffs.

There will also be no on-site attendance at the Major, and strict sanitary rules will be followed to ensure the safety of all participants and staff.

Rainbow Six Sweden Major 2021: streams

As usual, all matches will be broadcast on the channel Rainbow Six on Twitch. The schedule has not yet been released, but it is likely that the groups will work simultaneously - as we have seen in previous major tournaments.

Rainbow Six Sweden Major 2021: qualified teams

In total, 16 teams will gather in Gavle in early November - four teams from each region. The stakes are high: $500, SI points and the Swedish title are at stake.

Troy "Canadian" Yaroslavsky is making big strides since his 2021 retirement by joining the DarkZero roster. Major Team oNe eSports, the champions of Mexico, were also able to qualify to defend their title.

Rainbow Six Sweden Major 2021: Format

The November Major will follow the same format as the Six Mexico Major we saw in August.

The group stage from November 8 to 10 will consist of four groups of four teams that will fight in a double round robin, in the best-of-one format.

We will then see the top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs where they will play in a best of three bracket with one elimination and a best of five grand final.
