A major change is expected in Sea Of ThievesSea of Thieves). The developers have posted a video explaining some of the new pirated features coming later this month in more detail. Your teammates will be able to revive you when you drop your health to 0 instead of heading straight for the Ferry of the Damned, and Rare has a new system that will make it easier to track your teammates.
The most important thing in today new video is a respawn system for crew members. Losing all of your health will now put you in a downed state for 15 seconds, during which one of your crew members or an alliance member can help you recuperate. Of course, lone pirates will have no one to revive them, although they will spend less time waiting at the Ferry Of The Damned as compensation.
In Arena, teammates will have approximately 10 seconds more time than in Adventure Mode to revive an ally.
In addition to the new crew respawn system, Rare is also making some interesting changes to the quality of life on the high seas. Two new settings will be available in your menu. One of them will show the location on your map for each Tall Tale story quest your team is currently eligible to complete. The other will let you see the gamertag and badge for your team members even further away than before. They will also be visible through obstacles, which is a pretty big change.

I'm wondering how this fits in with Sea Of Thieves' current interfaces, which are mostly perceived as items in the world. Your map exists at a table on your ship.
