Skippy Legendary Pistol Location - Cyberpunk 2077
Want to arm yourself with iconic and legendary weapons in Cyberpunk 2077? Here's how to find Skippy, a unique smart gun.
The Skippy is a unique weapon that players can obtain in Cyberpunk 2077, and like many other iconic weapons and items you can find, it can be upgraded through the game's crafting system to make it even stronger. In this guide, we'll show you the location of the legendary Skippy gun so you can get your hands on this smart gun while exploring Night City.
Where to Find the Legendary Skippy Pistol - Cyberpunk 2077
Skippy is actually a weapon that appears as part of one of the many open world quests you can encounter in Cyberpunk 2077. To find the weapon, you need to quickly get to the fast travel point on College Street in Vista Del Rey. Below is a screenshot of the map. There are no other really big attractions around, but try to find this waypoint and head there to get started.
You should see an exclamation mark next to the fast travel point, if you approach it you will find an alleyway with a blind man's blind inside in it. Skippy is on the crate. Grab it to download and add to your inventory. What makes Skippy so unique is the built-in AI. The weapons look like something from Borderlands but are actually a lot of fun to use throughout the game.
As soon as you take it, he will start talking to you, after which he will offer you to choose one of two options for automatic fire:
- ◦ Me "killer", please (shoot in the head).
- ◦ Well, let's go "Pacifism and puppies" (shoot only at the legs).
There is a nuance. If you choose the first option, after 50 kills, the pistol will permanently switch to leg shooting mode. However, if you immediately prefer "Pacifism and Puppies", then after a while he will shoot in the head. However, it is possible to make it non-lethal forever. To do this, tell Skippy that "killing is wrong" and select the option about "Pacifism" in the dialogue.
During shooting, it is important that the enemy is visible through the holographic interface (rectangular area), which here replaces the scope. Then all the bullets will fly at him. To complete the quest, you must give the gun to Regina Jones, but no one is stopping you from keeping it for yourself.
You can upgrade Skippy from the crafting menu, as the base DPS and stats are really not that impressive, but they do scale with user level. By default, Skippy offered the following stats when we brought it up:
- 152,4 DPS
- 4,55 attacks per second
- + 21-26 electrical damage
- +37,39% critical damage
- +6% shock chance
- 70 headshot damage multiplier
- 2 empty mod slots
Upgrading a weapon will increase the rarity of the weapon, and it will also unlock additional modification slots, allowing you to make it stronger in other ways as well.
