Apex Legends Developers Accidentally Leaked Details About Season 14 Legend
Ahead of Apex Legends Season 14, Respawn Entertainment seems to have made a blot by revealing the newest legend and season name earlier than planned.
Whenever we get close to the start of a new season Apex Legends, insiders and dataminers are battling to be the first to reveal some key details, including the newest legend, season name, and whether we can get a new weapon and map.
Ahead of the 14th season, which should introduce Vantage with Apex Games as the newest legend, the leaks have made some big announcements about the events and NPCs that players can expect to find once Respawn sets everything live.
However, it looks like the developers were able to skip the leaks and reveal a few details early on, including our first full in-game look at Vantage, as well as the new season's title.
Apex Legends developers leak first in-game look at Vantage
That's right, it looks like Respawn slipped and revealed a few things a little earlier than planned, as players noticed something was off in the pre-game lobby.
Some players who downloaded the battle royale on July 23rd were greeted with an in-game message offering a yet-to-be-published trailer for the new season, with an image showing what Vantage will look like in-game.
"There's a new part Stories from the Outlands!" - the message says. "Watch Survive and meet a new legend joining Apex Games in Apex Legends: Hunted, releasing August 9th!"
Given that some players were unable to open the message and others saw it in color, this is clearly Respawn's mistake in setting up live stream ads.
Don't expect them to reschedule the start of the new season - but we may get more details sooner than they may have planned to tell us. We'll just have to wait and see.
