Elden Ring crafting recipes
Elden Ring is a huge game, and a lot of this big game takes the loot you find on the ground and turns it into essential items that you'll need on your travels. These items range from weapons that you can upgrade to be even more lethal, to tools that can help save your life in a tough situation.
However, this is a Souls game, so you'll need more than a few potions to survive in a hostile world.
Using a tricky (no pun intended, well, not much, anyway) combination of forage items and cookbooks you've acquired from the merchant, you'll soon become self-sufficient and be able to live mostly off the items you pick up. So let's now take a look at some of the things you'll soon be crafting like the master crafter that you are.

How to craft in Elden Ring
After you choose your class and created your character and then got a crafting kit from a merchant that will cost you 50 runes, you can start collecting resources from the land you can use. Many things can be collected during your travels in Elden Ring, including various items of flora and fauna that will come in handy later.
Once you have a crafting kit, you will still need items known as cookbooks that contain recipes for the items you are trying to make. Think of them like the instructions in a piece of Ikea flat-pack furniture, but hopefully a little more helpful.
These cookbooks are not consumed, so once you purchase them, the knowledge will stay with your character throughout the game and the rest of your journey.
