FIFA 22 Ratings: Serie A - Top Best Players in Serie A
Who will take first place in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo?
Elite Italy starts a new football season.
Below are the best Serie A players and their rankings in FIFA 22.
Inter, Milan, Atalanta, Roma and Juventus are just five teams vying for the title in what looks like one of the closest title races in recent history. With that in mind, it's no surprise that the FIFA 22 Serie A Best Players list includes players from the four major Serie A teams.
VRT - Wojciech Szczesny (87 OVR) Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. The Poland international retained his FIFA 87 OVR 21 after a full year in Turin.
LB - Theo Hernandez (84 OVR) The best left back in Serie A this season - and possibly the best in FIFA 22 overall - will be Theo Hernandez. The Milan player has been promoted to level 84 with an impressive card that looks poised for success at both ends of the field.
CB - Giorgio Chiellini (86 OVR) Euro 2020 winner Giorgio Chiellini retains his place in the Serie A top XIs for another year. The Juventus player has dropped slightly in the rankings, although he will remain a stopper with an overall rating of 86.
CB - Milan Skrinjar (86 OVR)) Together with Chiellini, Milan Skriniar from Inter stands in the center of the defense. This year, the Slovakian international will be the top choice thanks to his 80-point speed, 87-point defense and 84-point physical strength.
CB - Stefan De Vrey (85 OVR) Rounding out the four defenders is Stefan De Vrij, Inter teammate Skriniar. De Vrij has seen an upgrade from FIFA 21, although at an OVERALL rating of 85 we'll have to wait at least another year before we see his true ascent.
CSM - Frank Yannick Kessier (84 OVR) One of the highlights of the year in FIFA came about thanks to Milan's Franck Kessier. The favorite from the Ivory Coast scored 77 points in FIFA 21 to 84 in FIFA 22. He is sure to be a popular player.
CM - Nicolo Barella (84 OVR) Inter's Nicola Barella has improved his overall rating remarkably as well, climbing to 84 in FIFA 22. With a well thought out set of base stats, we expect him to be a carefully selected midfielder in the first weeks of play.
CPU - Sergey Milinkovich-Savic (85 OVR) Milinkovic-Savic has been a FIFA Serie A favorite for a number of years and that won't change in FIFA 22. The overall points rating of 85 still belongs to the Serbian midfielder.
CFD - Paulo Dybala (87 OVR) The absence of Cristiano Ronaldo means that Paulo Dybala has been tasked with taking charge of the Juventus team this season. His rankings dropped slightly ahead of FIFA 22, although with an overall rating of 87 he will still be one of the best in the league.
ST - Lautaro Martinez (85 OVR) Dybala's international teammate Lautaro Martinez also features in this stellar attacking trio. The Inter player looked set to move away from San Siro this summer, but he stayed at Milan and now has an updated 85-rated card to show his troubles.
ST - Ciro Immobile (87 OVR) The list of the best players in Serie A is completed by Lazio striker Ciro Immobile. The Italian is one of the most tenacious strikers in the division, as evidenced by his 87-rated shooting, and he is sure to be one of the top scorers this year. |
