As you explore the region, you are sure to stumble upon puzzles with the direction of the beam of light. You need to place the mechanisms so that the beam of light launched from the starting point reaches the device at the other end of the hall.
Some mechanisms cannot be rotated, but can be frozen or, conversely, thawed. If the water in the device is frozen, then a beam of light will bounce off it in the direction the stone is directed. If the beam hits the water, it will be distorted and fly in the other direction.
You can freeze water with any cryo character, and unfreeze it with a hero with pyro abilities. You will meet the first riddle in the cave to the west from the statue of vassals. The puzzle solutions can be seen below:

How to get to this puzzle
- Follow our route until you reach a rocky cliff with an arch.
- Go down to the platform with the Hilichurls.
- Go through the opening in the wall and go through the hole on the right side.
- Use explosive barrels to punch a hole in the wall.
- Enter the resulting passage and go to the right to see a mirror puzzle #3.
