Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead Appeared in Fortnite

A new character from The Walking Dead is joining Epic's popular battle royale as Rick Grimes jumps into action as part of this year's Fortnite Nightmares event.

Longtime AMC zombie drama The Walking Dead first joined Fortnite in December 2020. Initially jumped out of the battle bus Daryl Dixon and Michon.

Now Rick Grimes joins his former comrades. While early leaks from the Xbox Store revealed the new cosmetics, Epic Games officially confirmed the set in an October 9 announcement.

Rick Grimes was revealed and launched live right away, meaning you can get your hands on the latest Fortnite Walking Dead skin right now.

Players can get the Rick Grimes skin separately or purchase the new crossover as part of a larger bundle.

Based on previous collaborations, a skin should cost you 1500 V-Bucks, while a full Rick Grimes set should cost you roughly 2800 V-Bucks.

The large collection includes the skin, a pickaxe, his own back decoration and more.

The original protagonist of The Walking Dead, portrayed by Andrew Lincoln in the live-action adaptation, has not appeared since the 2018 episode "What's Next".

It remains a fan favorite to this day as talk of a spin-off film continues.

The Rick Grimes skin is already available in the store, although it is not known how long fans have to collect it. Once it's gone, expect it to randomly rotate like all previous Fortnite sets.

Keep an eye out for Walker's ruthless killer as Rick Grimes is sure to be a popular skin throughout the Fortnitemares event.
