Riot Games Reveal New Agent Sabin in Valorant and Map
It appears that Riot Games has shown off a sneak peek of Valorant's upcoming eleventh agent in an image posted on the game's official website.
In a blog post detailing the June 2, 2020 launch, Riot also included an image showcasing ten agents currently in the game, plus one never seen before.
While the image shows each Agent side by side, on the far right next to the Sage, there is an empty space where a boot is visible.
The black boot appears to have a small heel and is colored black and bronze or gold. Also added some purple.
Other than that, however, there's not much else, but it's clear that Riot specifically included this brief look at the new Agent to show that the new character will be available post-launch.
Some Valorant players have also reported agents who have voice lines directed at a character known as "Sabina". Also, it seems that she may be similar to a vampire, as some comments refer to the ability to "steal life".
In addition to the new agent, Riot also showed off the new map in a CGI trailer released on May 21st.
The new map has already been shown in some screenshots, but the trailer showcases Jett and Phoenix using their powers before the video jumps to the release date.
It is quite possible that the new map, which rumored to be called "Ascension", will be for the new game mode. Little is known about the map or even what the game mode will be like, but it does seem to have a distinct Venetian theme to it.
Valorant Closed Beta will end on May 28 , so you'd better participate in all the rounds you can get before then, but keep in mind that your progress will be reset once the game goes live.
