Riot Games Release LoL World 2020 Official Song "Take Over"
Riot Games has finally released the official theme song for the upcoming 2020 League of Legends World Championship titled Take Over.
After months of waiting, the best League of Legends teams from around the world will finally take on each other in Shanghai for the 2020 World Championship starting September 25th.
To celebrate the most prestigious event of the year, Riot Games always releases a festive theme song with tracks like "Phoenix", "Rise" and "Legends Never Die" debuting at the World Cup in recent years.
As Riot teased this year's Worlds song with professional characters such as those featured in the "Rise" music video, many fans initially expected a similar track to come from the League of Legends music team in 2020.

Riot releases 'Take Over' as Worlds 2020 song
After all groups have been formed, and tournament schedule approved , the official song of Worlds 2020 was finally released on September 17, just a week after it all started.
This year, Riot partnered with Jeremy McKinnon (A Day to Remember), Max Schneider and Henry Lau to create a Worlds 2020 theme called "Take Over".
You can watch and listen to the full music video "Take Over" at the bottom.
Take Over's music video features performances from pro players such as T1 mid laner Lee "Faker" Sang Hyuk, FPX jungler Gao "Tian" Tian-Liang as Lee Sin, and more.
The release of "Take Over" as this year's theme song also suggests there will be some live performance at the Worlds 2020 opening ceremony in the coming weeks.
Expected that League of Legends pop group K/DA will also be appearing at the World Cup with new member Serafina ahead of the release of their first album later this year. It is likely that they will also introduce some new tracks on the global stage, but fans will have to wait a bit to find out for sure.
