ROTU Entertainment lifted the curtain on Rhythm Of The Universe

Rhythm Of The Universe

Boston-based virtual reality (VR) developer ROTU Entertainment is currently working on its first exciting film, a family-friendly series called Rhythm of the Universe. The studio recently announced the successful completion of a funding round along with the first official teaser video for the experience.

The Rhythm of the Universe will be a seven-episode series that will intertwine story-rich storytelling and musical gameplay.

Explaining a bit more about the video game, ROTU Entertainment notes, “Each episode can stand alone and together create a long, unique story, allowing gamers to experience virtual reality combined with musical mythology. The concept is based on a unique perspective of three factors: music, history / mythology, musical symbols, instruments and theory, transformed into characters, ecosystems and game mechanics. We are creating a giant new universe using real music theory! »

Currently, ROTU Entertainment predicts that each episode will be released every six months, with the first one coming out sometime this year. The Rhythm of the Universe has been confirmed for three headsets, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Oculus Quest.

“Augmented Reality has a great future in entertainment and gaming. New VR headsets, including the wireless Oculus Quest, will be a big step towards mainstream adoption. Quality content like Rhythm of the Universe is the key to its success. We have already presented to the masses at CES, PAX, AWE and more our unique patented VR preview,” stated the CEO of ROTU Entertainment & Media, Ltd. Jason Parks. “History is based on today's problems that are solved through storytelling. The best VR devices need superior story content.”

Along with the new video shown above, ROTU Entertainment has confirmed the closing of additional funding in the third quarter of 2018, simply stating that "top American and European investors" are participating.
