Battlefield 2042 Guide: How to Change Weapon Mods
So, friends, you thought you could get away with it, didn't you? Did you think you could just pirate this video game or modify your console and go to town to play the best games without spending any money? A lot of people have worked really hard to make these video games, and some of that work has even gone into punishing pirates in fun creative ways...
Changing weapon attachments in Battlefield 2042 is not the most intuitive process. This guide should help.
How to Change Weapon Mods in Battlefield 2042
There are two ways to change your attachments, the first way being more convenient than the second. The first way is during the game, the second is through the respawn screen or the "Collection" tab in the main menu.
The fastest way to get the set you need is right in the middle of a match. Select the weapon you want to use on the respawn screen, press T on the keyboard or hold the left stick on the controller . A menu will open where you can cycle through the modifications.
How to change menu attachments
From the main menu, you need to start by going to the Collection tab in the top right corner of the screen, and then selecting the Weapons sub-tab in Collections. This will pull up your weapon set.
You can access the same menu in a match from the respawn screen.
Enable the weapon list by selecting the weapon button . press left mouse button or A/X on Xbox/PlayStation , and then select attachment type with left mouse button or A/X . Then select X/Square on Xbox/PlayStation to cycle through attachments.
This is where the difficulty arises. Now there are two ways to change modifications.
First, press X/Square to edit the position of attachments on the glowing green bar (essentially the shortcut bar for weapons). Press A/X to confirm the position and note that the currently installed fixture should go into the slot closest to the center hole in the UI.
You can also change attachments by pressing A/X to choose from attachments that are not currently on the glowing green bar. Note, however, that the Quick Access Toolbar attachments will not appear in the selectable menu that appears when you press A/X on the Quick Access Toolbar.
I hope this helped you get around that little quality of life issue. Follow PortalVirtualReality for more tutorials on Battlefield 2042 .
