One of the biggest features of Season 18 of Fortnite is the new Warped Reality, an alternate world where dangerous cube monsters roam and powerful Parallel weapons can be found.
With the arrival of Season 18 of Fortnite, the alien invasion is over, but a new threat has emerged. The Kevin Cube is back and there's a strange new phenomenon called the Parallel, with portals to another dimension appearing around the map.
While you can avoid the distortions if you wish, the best weapons are often hidden here, either as upliftable loot or in new chests. Here you can find a parallel rifle and a new machine gun, and they have super power states that can be unlocked.

What is Parallel in Fortnite?
After Kevin Cube returned to the Island at the start of Fortnite Season 8, portals to another world began to appear. They are known as the Parallel, a dark dimension filled with cubic monsters that has begun to invade the island.
The gravity is low here, but perhaps the biggest change to Parallels is that construction is prohibited which brings everything back to basics. Considering building is an important part of winning, it might be time to brush up on your weapon skills.
The main goal this season will be to protect the Island from the Parallel and the monsters that live in it. In the same way that aliens stole locations in season 17, it seems likely that Warped Reality will change the map throughout season 18.
How to enter Parallel in Fortnite
In each match, new POIs will be captured by the Parallel. To find the latest location, just search on the map giant orange sphere . Run into it and you will be transported to another world to start your adventure there.
As you enter the parallel, the point of interest will look slightly different, but its location will remain the same. Cubic monsters will attack you here, but other players will also attack, so it's dangerous to be here. Run in, stock up on weapons and leave.
How to enter Parallel Anomalies in Fortnite
They don't appear in every match, but sometimes you can find Parallel anomalies in different places on the island. You can see them as they look like little purple lights on the map , and they will pull you in if you get too close.
Unlike Parallels, Anomalies are small zones that require you to fend off waves of cube monsters in order to earn powerful Parallel weapons. Make sure you have a decent weapon before entering as these are tough fights.
How to Find Parallel Alien Chests and Get Parallel Weapons
The parallel is a dangerous place, so once you enter it, you probably won't want to stay here for long. However, before you leave, it's a good idea to stock up on parallel weapons and cube monster parts.
In Parallel, you can find weapons as loot on the floor, but you can also get them from space chests that glow purple. You can usually find one of these in the center of distorted reality, next to a tall spire .
If you have entered the anomaly, you can earn weapons by defeating waves of cube monsters. This is probably the hardest way to get them and you will need to equip yourself with good weapons to be successful.
How to upgrade the Parallel weapon with the remains of the Cube Monsters
Whether you enter the Parallel or the Portal, defeating the Cube Monsters will reward you Remains of cube monsters, the final crafting artifact you can collect in Season 18 of Fortnite.
If you collect enough of them, you can upgrade any Parallel weapon you have to make it even more powerful. However, we would recommend that you leave the danger zone and keep yourself safe before you do so.
To upgrade a weapon, press the up arrow button to open the crafting screen. If you have enough Cube Monster Remains and a weapon that can be upgraded, a notification above the weapon will let you know.
Parallel weapons such as the Parallel Rifle and Parallel Minigun also have the added bonus of a Super Power condition. Prepare them for overheating and they will deal extra damage to your enemies.
