STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a sequel to the popularly loved first-person shooter in development, a sandbox game set in the post-apocalyptic world of Chernobyl. Players can finally wander through a large, open, seamless world containing iconic elements from the original trilogy such as the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the city of Pripyat, the Novichkov village, as well as secret objects such as the Duga radar antenna.

GSC Game World has unveiled a new trailer for STALKER 2 and announced the new title as Heart of Chernobyl.
STALKER 2 received the subtitle Heart of Chernobyl (Heart of Chernobyl). The game will be released on April 28, 2022 and will become an Xbox console exclusive at launch.
In the video, you can see STALKER 2 gameplay for the first time at various locations, including the Duga and the city of Chernobyl-2. The trailer also shows the Gilka artifact detector and Skiff's new stamina gadget.

Suddenly, GSC PR manager Zakhar Bocharov announced the appearance of multiplayer in STALKER 2 after the release. Prior to this, the studio did not plan a multiplayer mode.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl is scheduled to release on April 28, 2022 on PC and Xbox Series S/X. The game will be an Xbox exclusive at launch.
