League players are being given hope after a PBE leak revealed the first details about the game's next character, Sameer.
Over the past few weeks, league players have received several new champions at once. It's like the second season... new characters appear every two weeks.
Riot doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Although the players have just received Lilly in patch 10.15 , Yone will appear on next week in patch 10.16 , a new champion may arrive with patch 10.17.
While we don't know what the champion looks like or what he'll do, we do know his name. This is Samira, and she will be Runeterra's newest shooter, soon in Season 10.
Leaks come in the way of small teasers in the 10.16 PBE loop. New Emote is called Style: Grade S has been added to the test server, along with a number of easter egg files in the same style. All these files refer to Samira.
The Easter egg teases a few general themes that we should expect when Samira is released. First of all, there are files for roses and rose petals. The rose also lights up crimson red in the new emote.
Samira was originally teased in " Roadmap of Champions» в June 2020 as "a new gunslinger born to kill", hailing from Noxus.

It looks like Samira will play more like an assassin. Riot has been testing champion hybrids lately, releasing interesting fusions like Senna - (Support+shooter) — at the beginning of 2020.
These leaks are just a taste of what we should see in the future. If Samira releases in patch 10.17, we'll see a few more files appear on the PBE before patch 10.16 goes live on August 5th. Otherwise, it may appear in a few weeks in September.
