A Counter-Strike player went viral after sharing an online clip of the "luckiest" CS:GO kill of all time on Vertigo.
CS:GO has one of the most complex shooting mechanics in action of any game, making it almost impossible to keep your weapons accurate while moving.
However, one player seemed to defy all the laws of physics in the game by pulling off a ridiculous kill to win 1v1 during his match.
Reddit user u/JaX148 uploaded a short clip from a competitive match on the CS:GO skyscraper map, Vertigo, as he hunted down the last opponent on B.
Realizing that the bomb was guarded by the last surviving enemy, JaX148 decided to peek around the corner at the edge of the map to catch the enemy by surprise.
Unfortunately, despite clever tactics, the player walked too far away from the edge of the building and began to fall towards his death.
However, inexplicably, he managed to catch a glimpse of where the enemy was before falling, and fired his M4 right in the middle of the fall, killing him over the railing on the side of the skyscraper.
The kill was incredibly successful, given that when players fall or jump in the air, their weapons become completely inaccurate, as can be seen from the spread of bullets from the magazine.
During this raging rain, the player miraculously fired a headshot that delivered the final blow and kept their team safe, only a few seconds before reaching the death barrier.
The once-in-a-lifetime drop video was posted on Counter-Strike Reddit, causing the player to go viral due to his latest efforts.
