Scorn may get a release date on Xbox and Bethesda Showcase
The creators of the game inspired by Hans Rudy Giger, published a seven-second video on the website Scorn, which gives you an idea of what the game looks like. The video was uploaded right after the announcement of the Xbox and Bethesda Game Studios 2022 Showcase, which will take place on June 12th.
As a result, a company can showcase or reveal more of their game during an online event.
Even though E3 2022 has been cancelled, events such as QuakeCon, PC Gaming Show, Xbox and Bethesda Game Studios Showcase will still be taking place, allowing fans and people in the industry to see what's new in the gaming world.
Also, Ebb Software has just released a brief teaser for their next horror game, Scorn.
Following the announcement of the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, Ebb Software is releasing a brief trailer for Scorn, the indie horror game.
Scorn also uploaded some new scary gaming videos which were again incredibly short.
In one of these, dubbed "The Puzzle", the player inserts what appears to be a key into a slot. The sequence of alien machinery begins to rotate until a perfect pattern is formed. There is also a cutscene titled "Cars" that showcased the look of the game.
The game has been in development for many years and was originally released in 2014. He was reportedly influenced by the Alien art movement and the collaboration of Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiski.
While some fans are unhappy with the delays, the game will release this year on Xbox One and PC, and according to the developers, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
The game, along with Resident Evil Village and Back 4 Blood, was considered one of the most anticipated horror games of 2021. However, he was eventually pushed back.
After nearly eight years of hype, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the game. The teasers and short clips that have just leaked indicate that this is going to be a very atmospheric horror game.
«Contempthas garnered a lot of attention, even with so little material revealed so far, due to its unusual visual aesthetic. Everything about Scorn is designed to feel organic, with most of the environments and creatures resembling human organs or guts, reminiscent of the work of G.R. Giger.
While the game cannot be classified as a survival horror because the player seems to be able to quickly defeat the creatures they encounter, it does have an unsettling aesthetic and atmosphere.
The gameplay in the trailer includes the player walking down corridors, defeating opponents, and opening doors. However, due to the game's strange settings, these common actions have unique artistic accents.
Enemies are strange creatures that slosh liquid at the player as they advance, much like combat troops or zombies. Corridors of stark dark and brown give way to lush splashes of scarlet, accentuated by the blood that spills from enemies when they are brutally killed.
