Sea of Thieves: Order of Souls - Everything You Need to Know

Sea of Thieves

Players now have the opportunity to enter the service of one of the companies by becoming its emissary, so we will detail the history and values of all the trading companies operating on the seas of Sea of Thieves, and the efforts they make to maintain the delicate balance and relative world in the expanses of a pirate paradise.

Sea of Thieves

history of the company

Until the unexpected appearance of the sinister "Dead Man's Bones" on the seas, the Order of Souls was rightfully considered the most unusual and mysterious trading company. His servants are clad in robes and hung with mysterious amulets, and their tents are full of mysterious artifacts. The main servants of the Order of Souls can be recognized by the purple-black stains around the eyes. They are said to put kraken ink on their eyes, which allows them to see the future, past or present more clearly.

Madame Olivia, the future head of the Order, once had a vision of strength and power. It was not only about strengthening the magical gift, but also about personal power and authority, about new knowledge that would help her find her way. An ambitious aspiring sorceress and her two companions arrived on the seas of Sea of Thieves and formed a new faction, determined to achieve their goals.

Of the entire arsenal of magical means currently at the disposal of the Order, only one ritual helped them grow from a vague group of witches into a full-fledged company that plays an important role on the seas of the Sea of Thieves. This ritual allows the extraction of memories from the skulls of the dead, including those reborn as skeletons. Dead skulls contain memories of buried treasures, ancient knowledge and secrets that would be better off forever in the grave.

The nascent Order needed new skulls to gain new knowledge, and an unofficial organization gradually developed to offer pirates a reward for the skulls of rebellious skeletons. The actions of the Order directly contradict the interests of the skeleton lords and other dark forces. We must thank fate for the moral strength of Mrs. Olivia. She motivates the Order to wage a relentless fight against the dark sorcery and unholy rites conducted by Captain Burning Heart and his minions. Madame Olivia has a high regard for life and the living. This is reflected in the company's motto, which can be translated as "We all serve souls." The Order of Souls operates in the same way as other trading companies: they hire pirates for a fee. But his servants take their fight against evil seriously, therefore they give preference to those who believe in the cause of the Order.

The Order jealously keeps its secrets, passing them on to only a select few, so the true power of the Order is still unknown. Some suspect that the servants of the Order are preparing to change the current state of affairs: after all, they are ready to pay much more for the skulls of the most ancient and powerful skeletons. But no one outside the inner circle of initiates knows what kind of knowledge the Order is seeking.

Company principles

They are very simple: the servants of the Order learn about the awakened skeleton captains, and then they hire pirates to defeat the risen dead and bring the company of the skull, from which the representatives of the Order will extract memories. And now the Order is offering additional rewards for defeating a new scourge - ominous ghost ships.

Memories extracted from the skulls of defeated enemies help the Order find chests with treasures, all the profits from which are invested in the cause. Servants of the Order do not want to jeopardize the peaceful coexistence of the main trading companies in any way, so they usually do not search for treasures on their own. They hire pirates for this, and then sell the received chests to the gold-holders. The Order is not going to cross the path of powerful partners. Sometimes servants of the Order hire pirates to find and bring them objects of the occult purpose so that they do not fall into the wrong hands.

You will start your journey in the Order with the rank of a mystical adept, but you can rise to the rank of Master of the Order. If you become an emissary of the Order, you can even rise above level 50, as well as purchase robes and ship equipment in the style of the Order of Souls. Also, as a reward for faithful service, the Order gives pirates special lanterns and mugs. The Lantern of the Order of Souls will help you spot the skeleton in the dark of the night, as well as defeat the rare but deadly shadow skeletons. A mug will calm the nerves after a fierce battle.

The company's view of itself and others

Gold Hoarders:
“We have a good working relationship with the gold-holders, despite some of their … peculiarities. Let's just say they're not the biggest evil."

Trade union:
“Regular and harmless enough guys. Too correct. They will not survive if they cannot recognize that there is a lot of strange and inexplicable in our world.”

Order of Souls:
“At the beginning of the journey, we simply calmed the insidious people from the graves. But now we need to gain more power to face the coming darkness.”

Treasures of Athena:
“Our Order has reached an understanding with the Pirate Master. His supporters help us in the fight against evil. The High Pirate knows the true value of magical power."

Sea Wolves:
“We have nothing in common with these buffoons. But at least they make the pirates improve their skills. It will come in handy when the real trouble strikes.”

Brotherhood of Hunters:
“Honest and decent guys, the salt of the Earth. Our task is precisely to protect good people like Merrick and his family from all evil."

Dead Man's Bones:
"Don't even mention them! What kind of idiots and bastards do you have to be to voluntarily serve the darkness and sow chaos?! The servant of the flame will burn in hell!"

Company in person

Madame Olivia works at the Reaver outpost. Olivia is the founder and face of the company, but she prudently does not talk about it, and prefers to talk with strangers only about the destruction of skeletons.

Madame Olga works at the outpost of Golden Sands. Olga firmly believes in the cause of the Order and prefers to deal with like-minded pirates, and not just mercenaries who are ready to do anything for the sake of gold.

Madame Olive works at the Reserve outpost. Oliva is a skilled sorceress, but it seems that she is beginning to become disillusioned with her service and may even be about to leave the ranks of the Order of Souls.

Madame Oksana works at the outpost of the Last Shelter of the Galleon. Oksana strives to reach the heights of magical art and does not like those who consider the Order of Souls to be a bunch of fortune-tellers and conjurers.

Madame Alwyn works at Ancient Peak Outpost. Alwyn openly admits that the Order needs the services of pirates, because the dead will always outnumber the living in the world.

Madame Опра works at the Steel Tooth outpost. She is proud of her rank and does not tolerate excessive familiarity. She believes that only a few pirates are capable of completing her tasks.

Madame Oya works at the Morrow Rock outpost. Oya lives in a dangerous place, but she believes that the spirits keep her safe. Her voice often has dark, ominous tones.

Emissary Guide

Emissaries of the Order of Souls receive more gold for skulls if they diligently complete their tasks and move to higher levels. To increase the level of the emissary, travel and complete the tasks of the Order, collect trophy skulls, bring back mermaid gems and perform other actions for the benefit of the Order of Souls. Collect as many skulls as possible on your ship, fight against universal dangers: defeat sea skeletons and ghost ships, clear forts, don't let the dead harm the living. Try not to hand over the loot for as long as possible. You will receive the maximum reward for it by reaching the 5th level of the emissary. Also, emissaries of the 5th stage have the right to a special task!
