Fortnite Jonesy Skin Original Design Looked Very Different
There are a bunch of skins in Fortnite Battle Royale, from the weird and ridiculous to the menacingly belligerent, already added to the game, but fans have always seemed to have a soft spot for Jonesy. However, he did not always look the way he does today.
Epic Games have added some of the most iconic characters from successful franchises to the world of Fortnite in recent months, including crossovers including Star Wars, The Avengers, Batman and more, but some players will always stick with the Jonesy skin that was added to the game by default.
After all, this is one of the first skins that was added to the game when it first came out in September 2017, and people like a bit of nostalgia. But it could have looked different if the original original design had been chosen instead of today's look.
It's often joked in the community that people who buy rare skins are generally not good players, prompting more people to use Jonesy and other original gear as their preferred outfit.
With all that said, it was interesting to hear what players thought of the original design as well – some of which were posted on Reddit by user Lui_Does_Stuff.
Well, to be precise, there are seven images showing all kinds of changes in facial features. The images are very different from each other. The faces have different chins, jaw lines, hair styles and facial expressions. Check out all the images below.
It's unclear if the original Jonesy skins will be used in the future for upcoming themed events, but fans are definitely loving them.
“Damn my boy Jonesy got that original look,” one Reddit user wrote, while another mentioned something Turner fans were talking about “Had» Tenney has been joking around for a long time. They said, "Third from the bottom from the left looks exactly like Tfue... he's a direct copy of him."
It's unclear why Epic Games dropped some of these ideas in favor of Jonesy, which found its way into Battle Royale, but it was certainly the right choice - given the popularity of the skin, which is still going strong in Season 11.
