Welcome to our guide to getting the Elude glove and picking wood keyboard codes for Slap Battles on the Roblox platform. If you want to unlock the keyboard on the tree and get the "Open" badge and the "Elude" glove, follow our instructions below.

How to get a new Elude glove

In order to get the Elude glove, you first need to have the "Open" badge. To get the "Open" badge, you need to find the keyboard in the game. The keyboard has a 20% chance to spawn every 10 minutes and can be found on the back of the main tree on Slump Island or on the back of the tree on Moai Island.

After finding the keyboard, you need to enter the correct code, which will teleport you to a game called Escape Maze or "?". In this maze, your goal will be to find and collect 4 hidden items before the timer runs out. The timer has a duration of 666 seconds (11 minutes and 6 seconds).

As you collect all 4 items, you will reach an altar with an Elude glove on it. After touching the glove, you will be given an "Open" badge, and then you will be attacked with a leg.

A detailed guide to the maze

Here is a detailed guide for those struggling with getting the gauntlet (all relic guides are like if you start with a spawn, follow the cheat sheet as the guide might not be right without it). It might be helpful to know that getting relics is the same process, a long corridor followed by a certain set of turns that is repeated for all 4 relics, and it helps to remember the moves to find the relics.

Note: 5 millimeters on the map takes about 4 seconds in the real maze.

1st relic (third in the cheat sheet):
- Start by turning 90 degrees to the left (left hand facing card)
- Walk diagonally to the right, then keep going straight until you reach a wall
- Turn right
- Take the second turn to the right
- Take the third right

Secrets and Difficulties of Obtaining the Elude Glove in Slap Battles

When joining a server, immediately enter the default Arena Portal and descend to Moai Island. If there is no keyboard, reset the settings and re-enter the portal, this time running through the lobby to Slapple Island. If there is no keyboard either, log out and rejoin another server, then repeat the process. Or join a server that is about 10 minutes away if there is no replay.
Setting the server size to Ascending in the server list will allow you to join smaller servers, hopefully without keyboard competition.
Using Wormhole, you can set up a portal system linking the 2 islands, allowing you to check both potential spawn locations at any time.
Using a phase or charge is also extremely useful due to its ability, you can travel faster, travel to Moai Island (the ability makes you swim) and short cooldown, the ability also has a pretty decent duration and immunity so you can type on the keyboard (when you take off the glove), remaining invincible.
You can use the Fish to plop down on the moai island (given the right amount of momentum and precise landing, but jumping before using the ability makes it easier)
You can also use the Hand of God to stop time so that you can safely enter a code on the keyboard without being slapped, unless there is a killstreak with 10 or more kills or a Phase 3 Reaper.
You can position the keyboard with MEGAROCKso that you can enter the code on the keyboard without looking up. It also blocks vision for other players, so it will be harder for them to type on the keyboard, and if a player touches you while the ability is active, they will turn to stone and die, unless someone uses the Swapper and swaps location with you. Diamond also works.
Since the Spectator can interact with the keyboard using its invincibility, it is possible to bypass Hand of God's time stop, Swapper swap, pusher wall, and any form of knockback, allowing you to enter code without interruption
Servers hopping around Killstreak Only servers can allow you to quickly find a keyboard as they are more likely to be forgotten in the chaos
When joining a new server, check the server age sign located between the default arena portal and the No One-Shot Gloves portal. If the last digit is 8 or 9, wait until it reaches 0 and then check both potential spawn locations.
In the maze, lower the graphics to 1 bar and it will be much easier for you to find your way.

Elude Glove Ability

Elude's ability, Move, is almost a combination of Adios's and Ultra Instinct's abilities. Upon receiving a slap, the user teleports to a random location on the map while dodging the slap. These places include:

Elud's ability is used to dodge slaps and teleport.

Anywhere on the main island.
North, East and West Islands.
Any of the bridges connecting the smaller islands to the Main Island.
Slapple Island.
Moai Island.
Fort.
Plate.
On top of the Cube of Death.

Advantages and disadvantages

pros

You are immune to slaps.
You are immune to almost all passive abilities.
When someone slaps you, he doesn't get any slaps.

Cons

Some gloves can still hit you with abilities such as Replica, Shukuchi, Engineer, Coil, and Home Run.

Most abilities can still affect the Eulde user.
You can teleport to the top of the Death Cube, which will instantly kill the user.
