Watch today's State of Play for PlayStation here
Sony PlayStation's "State of Play" branded showcase is back for another installment. These broadcasts usually feature the company's biggest announcements about upcoming changes and new upcoming games.
Sony announced that its State of Play show will return today, October 27, with a 20-minute stream that focuses on third-party games coming to PS4 and PS5 in the near future.
While that rules out any major updates for games like Horizon Forbidden West or Marvel's Spider-Man 2, there are still plenty of exciting third-party games that could hit the stream.

What to expect from the October event
Sony has a few big players coming soon and this is their chance to get the public's attention on upcoming games. Sledgehammer Games' Call of Duty Vanguard releases November 5th, and while we already know quite a bit about the game, more information about it seems like a solid bet.
DICE could also be coming as Battlefield 2042 also releases in November. While the open beta was a good first step, more footage may be needed to alleviate fans' concerns about the game.
There's also the recently announced Rockstar GTA Remastered Trilogy. This three-in-one pack will release on November 11, while GTA 3 will be released on PlayStation Now in December.
There will also be Little Devil Inside, which was originally scheduled to launch earlier this year.
Even though these predictions are all names we know, Sony isn't afraid to make big announcements in these streams, so stay tuned or watch the show on October 27th.
