An unfinished book means an unfinished experience...
With the release of update 1.0 “Sounds of the forest” have finally undergone a complete metamorphosis. This means that players can now enjoy expanded content that exceeds the expectations set during Early Access. In fact, now every player can enrich their recipe book thanks to the many projects available.
However, finding all the recipes is not an easy task, especially if you don’t know where to go. Don't worry, we're here to help. In this Sons of the Forest guide, we'll show you the locations of all the recipes and blueprints in the book so you can complete your journey. Let's start!
All Book Recipes and Their Locations
Update 1.0 for “Sons of the Forest” brought with it 4 new drawings, or book recipes, which can now be found in the game world. Some of them are related to the main plot, so we will mark them as spoilers where appropriate.
Book Recipe/Drawing Location #1 – Return Teleport Platform
The first book recipe you can get in Sons of the Forest is teleport platform "Return"" He can be found in a new area added in update 1.0, where there are many tents and surveillance equipment.
Location this location is shown below on the GPS map.
When you are in this area you will notice gap in the ground that you go down with the help ropes.
After you go down, you will see a dark cave. Upon entering the cave, you will come across fork trails.
Go right, and you will come across the end of the cave. On a small platform next to skeleton, you will see a piece of paper. This is a drawing of the teleport platform "Return»!
Take it and you will see that it requires the following resources:

- x50 Dice
- x33 Stones
Book Recipe/Drawing Location #2 – Glider Launcher
What follows is another helpful recipe from the book that you'll need, especially if you love vaping in Sons of the Forest. You can also check out our detailed guide on searching for a glider drawing.
It can be found next to secret cave, which is next to the strange one orange flash on your GPS. The location of this beacon is shown on the GPS navigator below.
Also, here's what the orange flash looks like in enlarged scale. You'll know you're in the right place when you see corpses near the ridge. Essentially, the orange flash indicates the location of the GPS locators.
If you turn towards the ridge, you will see a dark gap that indicates beginning of the cave. Go inside this gap.
After you go through the gap, you will come across a cave entrance that is blocked wooden planks. Use a weapon, such as an ax, to break down these boards and get inside.
Essentially, you need get to to end of the cave. The cave goes quite deep, but the path ahead is quite simple and does not branch. It will loop and open quite a bit.
Also, make sure you get all the goodies inside while avoiding all the enemies! Don't be scared by the blood and hanging bodies.
At the end of the cave you will see several skeletonslying around. Next to one of these skeletons you will see on land book recipe or drawing. Pick it up to get a blueprint for the planning installation.

Book Recipe/Drawing Location #3 – Mysterious Skull Structure
The next book recipe we'll be looking at in Sons of the Forest Update 1.0 is "The mysterious structure of the skull" It can also be found next to another orange flash indicating a GPS locator. Below is what it looks like orange flash on the GPS map.
Also, here's what the recipe book area would look like in enlarged scale on the GPS map.
In this area you will see that there is a remarkable area with wooden planks on the slope. Smash these wooden planks with a weapon or an ax and go inside.
This cave is very open, but the path ahead is also straight. The book recipe is here in end of the cave. You'll have to jump off several platforms until you eventually reach barrels.
On top of this barrel you will see that there is a recipe from the book. Pick up him to obtain the recipe for the mysterious structure of the skull.

Book Recipe/Drawing Location #4 – Golden Armor Holder (SPOILERS)
Last but not least, we have gold armor holder drawing. Finding this book recipe is part of main story and is actually found towards the end of Sons of the Forest. Therefore, we recommend that you do not read this part if you are worried about spoilers.
So let's find a diagram. As you progress through the main story you will come across a strange looking entrance to the bunker.
Location This bunker is shown on the GPS map so you know where to look for it as the story progresses.
Once you are ready, go through the entrance and slip through through a narrow gap. After that, continue along the straight path. The location for this book recipe is a long way ahead, but you won't have too much trouble navigating it.
Eventually you'll come across an area where you can choose two doors. Walk through the door left.
After that, follow the large corridors until you reach reception desk. Works of art will be displayed on the walls. Between two works of art there will be inputwhich you can walk through.
This leads to more bedroom, which looks very lived-in. WITH left side there will be a door that leads to bathroom. Walk along it, not paying attention to the completely unobvious trail of blood.
