ENT bomb! Descendants of Genshin Impact - who is it, what is it and how sideways are the twins, IT TURNS out to be “not” relatives
In exchange for Dendro the Heart of God, Nahida learned from Dottore about the so-called "descended" and the false sky.
Who are these descendants?
Descendants are otherworlders, people or organizations that do not belong to Teyvat; those who came from outside.
In total, according to Fatui, there were four such descendants:
- First Throne, Heavenly Order, known to everyone as Celestia (the localization ru refers specifically to the Guardian of the Heavenly Order, but this is a mistake);
- Second Throne, space invaders who made war on the First Throne and lost;
- Tritium remains a mystery
- Traveler.
(The legends mention another otherworldly wanderer who married a fairy, but it is not known whether this legend is reliable. Aloy is only a collaborative character and does not participate in the story.)
And from that moment on, a complete mess begins: according to the information that Fatui has, only one of the twins is “descended”. Nahida was very interested in this, because she knows from us that both brother and sister came from another world.
To test this, Nahida went to Irminsul.
Why, you ask? It's very simple: Irminsul has no records of those who do not belong to this world, that is, about the "descended". It turned out that in Irminsul there is information about the twin of the Abyss, which means that this is only one thing: it belongs to Teyvat.
At this point, the community broke down. Well, let's try to figure it out.
1. Information from Irminsul cannot be blindly trusted, "memories" are a collection of various visions, and they cannot be the truth, because "all memories have two sides." Remembering the Sons of the Sun: "You have your own memories of yourself, and on the other hand, other people's memories of you." Speaking of the current plot, we were shown how Nahida literally edits the story, changing the information about Rukkhadevata contained in the Irminsul. In addition, she says that the twin's fate and records became "blurred" after he joined the Abyss, hidden or, in other words, encrypted! Nahida bluntly says that only someone very powerful is capable of such a thing; someone who is directly capable of influencing the work of the Irminsul. Someone who is capable of hacking this "computer".
2. Information about the twin of the Abyss, which is contained in Irminsul, is "inserted", fragmentary! If it originally belonged to Teyvat, and was not cleverly inscribed into it by someone, Nahida would have had information about the twin of the Abyss from his very birth. What do we have in our hands: the birth of a twin in Teyvat, as well as his life there, is not recorded in Irminsul. According to Nahida, he "suddenly appears" in the Caenri'ah and begins traveling the world after the cataclysm.
3. During the first cut-scene (attempt to escape), the Guardian of the Heavenly Order herself says that we are foreigners.
4. At the first meeting of the twins in the quest with Dainsleif, the twin of the Abyss says: “I have already completed my journey through this world. Finish it and you. Do you also see that the twin of the Abyss speaks of this world not as his own?
5. And why did many people abruptly forget about the stories of our main characters about their past? Forgot about the "power of light", which is also not typical for this world? About their home world that was destroyed, and the purpose of their journey - "search for a new home"?
In addition, “not blood relatives” is a mistake in Russian localization. Original: "Excluding the (sister/brother/blood relative) of the traveler, were there three other 'Descended'?"
In general, our specific opinion (not a fact) sounds like this: both twins do NOT belong to Teyvat, someone deliberately brought the twin of the Abyss into Irminsul.
