There are plenty of weapon and ability upgrade options for you to purchase in Soulstice, and you'll need to do so in order to fight tougher enemies. Here's everything you need to know.
There are many different types of enemies that you will face in soulstice, and if you want to keep yourself in good shape, you will definitely need to upgrade Briar's weapons, as well as Luth's abilities. The good news is that the game makes it pretty easy to upgrade everything, although you'll need a lot of resources in the process. Here's everything you need to know about how to improve your skills in soulstice.
How to upgrade weapons and abilities in Soulstice
Weapon upgrades and abilities can only be purchased at Layton's shop, although you can view the upgrade menu at any time. Layton spawns at set points during each chapter, and he's always placed along the main path, so he's unmissable.
Briar and Lute will notice they hear Layton's bell as he is about to appear, but he will also greet the sisters. Besides, weapon upgrades and skills can also be bought at end of each chapterbefore you start the next one.
Simply select the skill option in Layton's shop or at the end of the chapter, and then use the triggers to select Briar or Luth.
Briar uses red crystals to buy new abilities and combos for your weapons, while Furious uses blue crystals to buy upgrades for your abilities from four categories; attack, defense, fields and admiration. Feel free to focus on one weapon or category, or mix and match as you see fit.
It's important to note that Lute's abilities can be revised at any time, which we'll explain later, but Briar's upgrades are permanent. So choose wisely.
How to get more red and blue crystals
You will obviously want as many crystals as possible, as there are many upgrades to purchase. You will receive crystals from every enemy you kill, but unfortunately this is not enough. Your two best options are to explore every corner and replay past chapters.
soulstice It has many motherlode crystals hidden around every chapter, so you'll want to get them. You can also smash all the barrels and items you see to get some extra red crystals, and keep an eye out for the smaller floating blue crystals that can be broken as well. The more you explore, the more experience you will gain.
In addition, you can go back and replay past chapters to gain more experience. Later chapters tend to give more crystals than earlier chapters, especially if you're exploring. This can take a long time, but if you're really desperate to unlock more abilities, this is one option.
How to Respect Ability
soulstice allows you to revisit Lute's abilities at any time, trying different playstyles wherever you feel. The catch, of course, is that you can only return abilities at Layton's shop or at the end of chapters.
To refind something, do the same thing you would buy, but instead press the return button when you select an opportunity. Don't be afraid to try different abilities or focus entirely on offense or defense if you feel like it. There is no downside to changing Lut's abilities.
