Save the World with Plague Inc. Free Medicine During the COVID Pandemic

Developer Ndemic Creations has announced that Plague INC: The Cure is now available on iOS and Android devices. Unfortunately, PC owners will still have to wait. The expansion will be free until COVID-19 hits the world.
Back in March we reported that developers from Ndemic Creations are working on an extension for Plague Inc which will allow us to fight viruses. Studio announced that The Cure ready, but for now it can only be purchased on iOS and Android devices. At the same time we became aware that the launch of the expansion on PC is approaching and the date will be announced in the coming weeks. The DLC will be free until the COVID-19 epidemic ends. To play, we need a basic version of the application.
It is worth recalling that The Cure was created in collaboration with experts from WHO (World Health Organization), GOARN (Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network) and CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness) and is designed to bring the player closer to the processes of combating the spreading virus. We need to find Patient 0, check how the virus is transmitted, put in place rules to fight the pandemic, and eventually develop an effective vaccine. Of course, during these events, we should not forget about the economy and guaranteed public support for our actions.
The expansion was warmly received and Richard Hatchett, CEO of CEPI, said:
"Games like Plague Inc: The Cure, constitute an incredibly important public education and information tool that can be used to show the world the steps needed to address similar global health threats and their associated challenges.”
