Spellbreak - Mage Battle Royale Releases September 3rd
Spellbreak will release worldwide on September 3, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC (on the Epic Games Store).
Spellbreak is a multiplayer action game where you can use spells to awaken your inner battle mage. Master the art of elemental magic to suit your play style and cast powerful spell combinations to defeat other players and rule the Hollowlands.
As Closed Beta 2 draws to a close and the development team is hard at work behind the scenes preparing for launch, it's time to talk about what's coming in the coming weeks leading up to a launch later this year.
Here's what the developers said on their blog:
All Spellbreak servers will be taken offline at the end of Closed Beta 2 on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 10:00 EDT / 16:00 CET.
You may have already noticed, but we are going update and upgrade official Spellbreak Discord Server . We're making some changes to make the official Discord easier to understand so that new players can get the help they need, communicate with each other, and find the best ways to interact directly with the Proletariat team. As part of this update, we will be simplifying channels, reorganizing classifications, and revising the role structure. If you are a player who has lost the role of the founder, we will introduce a time-limited process in which you can restore this role.
We will continue to have Discord AMA sessions so that players can directly ask questions to the development team.
We are also looking to expand the ranks of our team of volunteer moderators. If you want to help us create something special and want Spellbreak to be a welcome and diverse community, we will are happy to hear from you!
Starting next week, we're going to be launching a massive project with the official community-driven Discord so we can all play together during our downtime. More information about this will follow, so stay tuned to the #announcements channel.
If you're one of the many who tune in to Seth's Office Hours or After Hours live, fear not, because we're going to be keeping those streams going during the downtime.
Seth will talk about the development of Spellbreak and share some memories from last year's builds, so stay tuned if you want to know more about how we got to where we are today.
The community team will return with the After Hours stream, playing co-op and group games with the community every Thursday at 19:00 pm EST.
Of course, this does not include all the news and updates that we are going to share with you as we get closer to the official launch of Spellbreak later this year.
Don't forget to join the official Spellbreak Discord server to keep up with everything that's happening in the community!
Spellbreak will be free-to-play with cross-play, cross-group play, and cross-progression at launch!
