Here's the full breakdown of Spellbreak's biggest update to release of Prologue!

Prologue: The Gathering Storm will be available in Epic Games Store , PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , Nintendo Switch и Geforce Now from October 22 to 2020 year.

Here is the official description of the update:

clash

  • ➤Our first new game mode is here! Clash is a 9v9 team deathmatch mode in which two teams compete to expel enough of their opponents to reach a predetermined score. The one who does it first wins!
  • ➤There is little stress in Clash, but a lot of fun! He immediately throws people into battle and keeps them there for a while. Great for learning new classes, letting off steam, training or just having a good time!
  • ➤Each side consists of 3 squads of 3 players each.
  • ➤Each time a player is ejected, the ejected team receives a point.
  • ➤Players roam the map, collect equipment and level up their skills, just like in Battle Royale.
  • ➤The circle will lead players to design areas that provide good gameplay for both teams.
  • ➤After being banished, you keep all your equipment and levels, but also leave a copy of your equipment that other players can steal.
  • After being banished, you will respawn next to your team, high above the battlefield, with full health, armor, and two armor shards.
  • ➤Remarkable : Spellbreak game modes are not set in stone. We will experiment and change the available modes over time. We want Spellbreak to grow and change, not forever.
  • ➤As stated above, with the advent of Clash, we will disable Duos.

Prologue Chapter

  • ➤This release marks the introduction of the chapter system to Spellbreak! This is the first option and we will be listening to your feedback and developing it as we go forward.
  • ➤ Earn reputation by completing Avira Emberdane missions and unlock 25 tiers of rewards, including exclusives:
    • ➤Outfits, including epic ones!
    • ➤Clouds and afterglow
    • ➤Headings and maps
    • ➤Gold!
  • ➤Return every week for new quests or increase your reputation by playing and earning XP as usual.
  • ➤In honor of the Prologue, we make it FREE for all!
  • ➤Follow your progress in the Quests and Chapters tabs and see how the story develops over time.

Matchmaking

  • We've made changes to lobby populations to better populate with players.
  • Now when more players join, the match countdown timer increases to a certain point (although it is still limited to a few minutes), so that while new players enter, they will be placed in the existing lobby instead of closing. down the lobby and spawns a second one. In essence, we are trying to fill one game completely, and not make two half.

    Gameplay

    Bug fixes worth mentioning

    • Fixed an issue where the Lightning Strikes magic was not hitting players on the outer edge of the magic.
    • Immediately jumping when entering a puddle no longer prevents proper damage from being dealt.
    • Fixed an issue that caused Vanishing Mists' dash function to not trigger when a shadow hit a poisonous cloud.

    • ➤Cost: 3
    • ➤Description:
      • See future storms and mana vaults
      • See enemies on the minimap every 10/9/8/5s.

    Symmetric

    • ➤Spirit
    • ➤Cost: 3
    • ➤Description:
      • Obtain Class Level 1 Skill Offhand Gauntlet
      • Off-Hand Spell Mana Cost: -5 / 10/15/25%

    TALENT CHANGES

    • The Vital Stone immune effect now properly protects against tornadoes.

    • ➤Seekers Keepers

      • Cost is now 1 (was 2).
      • Its description now reads: "Chance to find potions from chests: +25% / chance to find scrolls from chests: +50/75/100/150%".
      • ➤Note : this description is slightly inaccurate. This increases the chance of finding potions AND shards.
      • ➤Finders Keepers * struggled to find a place outside of very specific cases, and we've been wanting to improve it for a while now. With changes in consumables, it seemed like it was time to expand its scope!
    • ➤Durability

      • Cost is now 2 (was 3).
      • Fortitude has been overshadowed by the other Body talents, and we want to make it more attractive by lowering its cost.
    • ➤Trash collection

      • The cost is now 2 (instead of 1).
      • ➤Scav has always been different… In fact, too much, especially with some new talent emerging.
    • ➤Dust

      • Cost is now 3 (was 2).
      • Fervor has long been the most dominant talent choice of all categories, and all too often it's been obvious. It also indirectly reduces the strength of some classes/skills.
    • ➤Escapist

      • Now reads: Run Speed ​​+3 / On Damage Taken: Run Speed ​​+1/2/3/5 (5s)
      • We've added a significant amount of base movement speed to the Escapist, and it's always on. Escapist is now designed to escape, participate and just run!
    • ➤Thirsty

      • Now reads: Consume Haste 35/50/65/90% faster / Consumables heal nearby teammates for 50% effectiveness.
      • Due to changes to consumables and future plans, we needed to slow down Thirsty a bit, and also specify that it only affects healing and armor. If we wanted it to split ALL consumable effects by 50%, we would probably have to rework it a lot in the process.

    Expendable materials

    • ➤After using a consumable, the player's vitals bar shows how much they will be healed for the duration of the consumable.
      • ➤Frequently requested feature. Now you can see how much you heal in the process!

      NEW SMALL HEALTH POTIONS И SMALL ARMOR SHARDS.

      • "After drinking for 2 seconds, restores 15 health over 5 seconds." "After consuming for 2 seconds, gives you 15 armor over 5 seconds."
      • ➤This normal rarity.
      • ➤They fold up to 6 pieces into the hot panel slot.
      • ➤They fall in stacks 2 pieces .
      • They're meant to be a quick resupply in combat, and since they stack up to 6, you can carry a bunch of them around. Since they are common and come in pairs, you will also find plenty of them.
      • They can be used very effectively in combat to quickly raise vital organs.

      The current "small" versions you've been using have been renamed to reflect the new rarity, and their values ​​have been tweaked slightly for better rounding, but otherwise remain unchanged.

      HEALTH POTIONS И ARMOR SHARDS

      • "Drinking for 3 seconds restores 25 health over 10 seconds." / "After being consumed for 3 seconds, grants you 25 armor over 10 seconds."

      • ➤They still stack up to 2.

      We are adding a new type of potion called " Safe guard, which restores both health and armor. This is primarily for regeneration out of combat, but if you can find a longer mid-combat window, it will help you regenerate pretty much.

      PROTECTIVE POTION

      • ➤"Drinking for 5 seconds gives you 25 health and armor over 10 seconds."
      • ➤This epic rarity.
      • They take up a hotbar slot but cannot stack.

      LARGE PROTECTIVE POTION

      • ➤"Drinking for 8 seconds gives you 50 health and armor over 10 seconds."
      • ➤This Legendary rarity.
      • They take up a hotbar slot but cannot stack.

      POTION OF KNOWLEDGE

      • "After drinking for 1 second, grants you 2 additional Rune and Sorcery charges."
      • ➤This epic rarity.
      • They take up a hotbar slot but cannot stack.

      Miscellanea

      • The main menu bar has been slightly redesigned.
      • All players now start with the Crusher title by default.
      • Emotes now loop in the shop and collection menus.
      • Artifacts now freeze if the player is frozen.
      • Frozen Boulder has improved visuals and material.
      • Added new sounds when players use consumables.

      Windows fixes

      • The Spellbreak ID should now always appear on the Account Management or Add Friend screens.

      Switch

      • ➤Switch now supports gyroscope control.
      • ➤Hopefully this time the black screen issue has been fixed.
        • ➤We are very sorry that this took so long to fix!
      • Players who have their system date set before August 18th can now log in.
        • ➤Just in case you need to travel through the islands in time for some reason...

      PlayStation 4

      • Fixed an issue that caused the flash freeze magic target indicator to display the wrong smaller radius while the player was not moving the camera.
      • Fixed an infinite loading screen caused by logging out of PSN on the loading screen.

      Xbox One

      • ➤Fixed a crash caused by losing internet connection when switching between screens.
      • Resolved an issue that caused framerate to freeze when picking up items.
      • Fixed a number of Xbox crashes.
      • Fixed an issue that caused the flash freeze magic target indicator to display the wrong smaller radius while the player was not moving the camera.

      All platforms

      • When servers are down for maintenance, the client now correctly reports this instead of throwing an authentication error.
      • When a player is kicked out of the game and is in a group with players still in the game, they are no longer marked as "in-match" when they return to the lobby.
      • Fixed a bug that caused the store tab UI to become corrupted after being idle for a long time.
      • ➤If the player fails to enter the correct account information, they will return to the login screen.
      • The Bored emote now has the correct icon.
      • Parties will no longer crash due to network outages.
      • Fixed an issue that caused users with controllers to be constantly prompted to press the confirm button in the Lost Password flow even after confirmation.
