List of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Trading Codes
Trade codes in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet can help you get version exclusives, catch all of the Paradox Pokemon, or even get two starters you didn't pick. Here is a list of all the trading codes you need for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
Like every other mainstream Pokemon game, Scarlet & Violet has quite a few version-exclusive creatures that can only be obtained through trading. But what if you don't have friends who play? This is where trading codes will solve the problem.
These unified codes allow you to set up trades with other trainers around the world to get the Pokemon you both want, whether it's trading Quaxly for Fuecoco or sending Scyther to be traded before it can evolve into Scizor.
Below you'll find all the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trading codes required to get version, starter, and Paradox Pokemon exclusives, as well as details on how to redeem those codes.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Starter Pokemon Codes
To get two starter Pokémon that you notchose in Scarlet & Violet, you can use the following trading codes:

0001 – 0007 | Sprigatito | Quaxli |

Before you trade your only starter Pokémon, you'll want to breed more of it. You can do this by hosting a picnic with only Ditto and your starter Pokémon in your party.
After a while, the eggs should start to appear in the picnic basket next to the table. Then it's just a case of adding an egg to your batch and waiting for it to hatch!

How to use trading codes in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Trade codes are just another name for link codes.
If you want to trade with other trainers using the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trading code, you will need to go online and head to the Poke Portal menu.
Here is how to trade with other trainers using the trading code:
- Make sure thatyour game is onlineby opening the menu with X and pressing L.
- After connecting to the Internet, go to the menu Poke Portal.
- Get Link trade.
- Enter your trade code from the tables above, then select "Start Search".
- Select the Pokémon you wish to trade.
- Make sure your trading partner has selected the Pokémon you want before confirming.
Because these trade codes are the same for both players, you may end up with a trade partner that has the same Pokémon as you, so always double-check. If this happens, simply exit the trade and search again.
All of these trading codes are based on those offered by Austin John Plays, which usually become the standard for Pokemon games.
There are no universal codes for the evolution of trade yet, but we will update this page if they are determined.
