  • ➤Click Set Launch Options on the General tab.

Crusader Kings 3 Test teams

Before we move on to more traditional scripting commands, here is a short list of testing commands you can use in Crusader Kings 3 .

They are usually used by developers to fix bugs or work on new patches, but they can also be very handy for modders.

Anything in parentheses requires a variable. If you need a specific ID, you can usually get it by hovering over a character/territory/etc.

  • clear - clears console history
  • effect [effect script] - starts the script effect.
  • faction_spawn [faction type] -spawns a faction if possible
  • generate_cadet_coa - Creates a new coat of arms
  • help [command] - displays a description of any command
  • instamove - armies move one space per day
  • map_editor - opens the map editor
  • nomen - Causes AI characters to refuse every request
  • watch - toggles observer mode
  • play [character id] - Switches the player character to the selected character
  • portrait_editor - opens the portrait editor
  • run [filename] - executes commands in a file. The file must be in Documents / Paradox Interactive / Crusader Kings III.
  • set_is_ai [character id] - allows AI to control the character
  • set_is_player [character id] - prevents AI from controlling the character
  • Yesmen - makes AI characters accept every request
