Serafina's Abilities League of Legends First Look

seraphina

Soon, the league singer Serafina (in common Seraphim) will be added to the game. While this news is Riot's worst kept secret, her kit is under lockdown. However, we've explored her abilities, giving players a chance to learn about the mage's skills in advance.

seraphina

According to Brazilian streamer Streamie leaked in August, Serafina was promoted as next "sensational magician" League. However, what the name actually meant was a bit unclear.

League of Legends already has a few mages. Will Serafina be like the explosive Syndra or Ryze, or maybe Orianna? Maybe a more benevolent type - ala Nami, Lulu or Karma? Now we have an answer.

New champion leaked two abilities thanks to data from Wild Rift game files by PixelButts , and it looks like Serafina will be a combination of all of these abilities.

Passive and (E) Serafina

The two leaked abilities appear to be her passive and her E. Seraphina's passive includes a new "Echo" mechanic that allows her to use abilities twice. Using her abilities near allies also grants her additional attack range and damage on her next attack.

This can make for some pretty cool combos with the rest of her set, including when combined with her E. Serafina's third ability will protect all nearby allied champions, granting them movement speed - similar to E. However, if Serafina already has shielded abilities, nearby allies will be healed based on their missing health.

This, combined with the Echo passive, means Serafina can protect and heal her allies at the same time if she has her own passive.

There is no information about her Q, W or ult. These abilities will really give players an idea of how her kit actually works. She could still be the more supportive mage type, but Riot could also just add a ton of damage to her kit.

The files have actually existed in Wild Rift since the alpha version launched in some regions of the world earlier this year. At the time, we didn't know who they belonged to, but it's now clear that the leaks are about the 152 Champion, Seraphina.

Now the big question remains: when will Seraphina come out? No exact date has been set, but given that she performs with K/DA at the World Championship , we can expect its release around October, when the championship starts.
