Urgently! Ubisoft Montreal Employees Taken Hostage
Canadian media reported on the hostage-taking at the Montreal office of Ubisoft. The police cordoned off the building, part of the company's employees barricaded themselves on the roof.
According to press reports, dozens of people could be held hostage. There is no information about the attackers yet.

Dozens of people are being held hostage on the roof of a Ubisoft building in Montreal, Canada.
Additional ambulances arrive at the scene and the police appear to be preparing to infiltrate.
A little later, Darby McDevitt, Narrative Director of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and other studio staff got in touch. McDevitt said the operation was taking place in a different building.

It looks like the hostage taking is connected to an armed robbery. This was reported by CBS.
Ubisoft says it has received safety instructions but doesn't know what's going on yet.
