Gameplay and setting of Steelrising
Steelrising players will take control of the Aegis 'The Angel of Death'. Being a robot herself, Aegis has become embroiled in a conflict between humans and robots and will likely have to find a way to resolve the situation - by eliminating villains on both sides. Steelrising robots are described as feeding on death, meaning that each time a human dies, their powers become stronger. Most likely, this also applies to Aegis.
However, the gameplay is primarily focused on fighting various steel enemies, which means that the robotic Aegis may be humanity's only hope. So far, the gameplay looks like a mixture of Soulslike style mixed with more traditional hack 'n' slash adventures like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.
So that's all we know about Steelrising so far.
