Subnautica: Below Zero First Big Update
Subnautica: Below Zero Early Access has just received its first big new update!
If you've been a big Subnautica fan in the past, this is good news for you. Below Zero, now in Early Access, has received its first major update, and this update brings the Seatruck to the game. This water glider looks a lot like the Seamoth at first, but it's a modular vehicle that allows you to create a plug-in to help you on your travels.
Three modules are currently available: Aquarium, Fabricator and Storage. The aquarium option will allow you to fish while riding, allowing you to explore them and use them for food. The fabricator gives you the ability to create things on the go, and storage gives you a place to store all your stuff! The update also adds a couple of new animals to the game. The first one is the Seamonkey, and while it sounds like a friendly creature, it will actually try to steal your gear! They form nests from scrap metal and other items, so if you find them, you can loot them and possibly find valuable items. While Seamonkey can be a little annoying, the second new addition is a lot more menacing. If you're exploring the depths of winding bridges, look out for the squidshark! This terrifying mix of tentacles and shark-like aggression patrols the area and attacks if you get too close. While the new wildlife has become more aggressive, there are also some fuller areas. Head to the Deep Winding Bridges or the Thermal Spire biomes for new exploration, and you now have a Cargo Transfer Launchpad and a new area around!
