Fortnite and Apple Lawsuit Reveals Skins for The Rock, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, Die Hard and More
Epic Games' lawsuit against Apple has begun, and during the first day, the Fortnite developer revealed a ton of interesting collaborations that were planned at a point in time and may still come to the title in the future.
At this point, it's safe to say that Fortnite's many collaborations with other properties and companies are one of the main factors that attract new players. Fans see the game as Iron Man or The Flash and want to be a part of it, which is why the game is so successful.
Most seem to be of the opinion that no property or celebrity is off limits at this point in time when it comes to collaborating with Fortnite, and some new leaks seem to back up that sentiment.

During the first day of its lawsuit, Epic Games v. Apple was the first to reveal a ton of interesting facts about Fortnite, including earnings information, scheduled and closed content, and more. Because of this, there have been many collaborations that were once in development but are now canceled or still planned, and some of them may surprise you.
In particular, at some point, Epic Games planned to collaborate with numerous celebrities and pop culture objects in a unified form, including Ariana Grande's Rock, Lady Gaga, LeBron James and others. The full list can be found below, and while some of them make more sense than others, some are quite surprising to say the least.
- Rock
- Ariana Grande
- Lady Gaga
- LeBron James
- J Balvin
- Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)
- Bride (Kill Bill)
- John McClane (Die Hard)
- Snake Plissken (Escape from New York)
- Samus Aran (Metroid)
- Naruto
It is worth pointing out that just because these plans have been confirmed does not mean they are still being implemented. Clearly, many of these collaborations have either been shelved or even canceled entirely, as evidenced by some release periods that have come and gone. However, they may see the light in the future.
All in all, it's safe to say that while some OG players may not like them, Fortnite isn't ending the collaboration anytime soon. While it is not known which of the aforementioned collaborations could be next, it is safe to say that players should prepare for more.
